Human connection is lost. Posh is a beacon guiding us back. Posh enables anyone to build an IRL community based on shared interests, while connecting consumers with the communities of people just like them. Founded by event organizers who were frustrated with the growing loneliness epidemic and the tools available to build their own event brand, we’ve built the ultimate platform for launching, monetizing, and finding IRL communities of people just like you. In just 6 years, Posh has grown to a team of 70, expanded to 10M+ users, secured $70m in venture funding, and facilitated over $400M in transactions. ## About the Role This is a sales team, we call it Partnerships, but this team acquires the organizers who bring new events, and new GMV, onto the platform. As an Account Executive, you own the full sales cycle: sourcing, demoing, closing, and getting an organizer's first event live and collecting its first dollar. We call it Partnerships because we're not just closing a deal and moving on, we're looking to genuinely support organizers as they grow. Success is measured in two numbers: organizers activated, and GMV grown underneath them. You'll focus on organizers where speed, volume, and sharp qualification matter as much as relationship-building. This role reports to our Head of Sales and sits on the Partnerships team. It is strictly in-person, 5 days a week, at our SoHo, NYC headquarters, with roughly 10% travel to industry events, conclaves, and customers. You're joining at a pivotal moment for Posh's go-to-market motion - the strategy, playbooks, and standards you help set now will define how we build a world-class Partnerships org as we scale. ## What You'll Learn & Achieve - Source and close new organizers across nightlife, festivals, and live events, end-to-end - Build a pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, networking events, and referrals - Run live product demos and negotiate contract terms that work for both sides - Forecast deal stage, probability, and timeline with rigor - this drives how we plan the business - Coordinate handoffs with Customer Success and Account Management so nothing gets lost after close - Bring client feedback back to Product and Marketing to shape the roadmap - Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets ## Who You Are We’re looking for driven, full cycle closers who can move fast without cutting corners - You believe in the importance of real-world human connection and are passionate about our mission to help the world connect more meaningfully in real life - You have 2+ years of sales or prospecting experience, with a track record of top performance - You have proven success running outbound and closing high-velocity deal cycles - You have strong negotiation and contract experience - You are comfortable managing a pipeline with rigor - You have excellent presentation skills; can run a live demo that converts - You have a "win as a team" mentality Nice to Haves - Experience in the live events, entertainment, or ticketing industry - Background scaling a community, professionally or as a passion project - Startup experience Posh provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. Posh is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities in our job application procedures. Please let us know if you need assistance or accommodation due to a disability ## About Posh ## Core Business - Primary industry: Event technology / Social experiences - Target customers: B2B (event organizers, creators, “connectors”) and B2C (attendees seeking IRL experiences) - Mission: “Make it easier for anyone to find or create meaningful social experiences” and “bring the world back together, one experience at a time.” ## Products & Services - **Organizer Dashboard**: A suite of tools for creating, marketing, selling tickets, and scaling events. Includes customizable event pages, embedded marketing tools, financial management, and data-backed analytics. - **Event Marketplace**: A discovery platform where consumers can find personalized social experiences – from club parties to run clubs, fashion shows to music festivals – based on their interests and social graph. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed - **Total Funding**: $64M (including a $37M Series B raised in early 2026, ~6 months ago) - **Notable Investors**: EPIC Ventures, Companyon Ventures, FirstMark Capital, Goodwater Capital, Causeway, and others. - **Growth Signals**: Has helped connectors sell over 25 million tickets and generate over $300M in revenue for creators. Named a Challenger in the event ticketing space alongside SeatGeek, StubHub, and Cvent. ## Competitive Advantages - **IRL-first platform**: Differentiated by focusing on authentic in-person experiences and community building, not just ticketing. - **Creator empowerment**: Provides end-to-end technology for event creators to start, scale, and monetize their communities, including distribution through the marketplace. - **Data-driven & social**: Uses early social graphs of events to recommend experiences to consumers based on who they know, blending social discovery with event discovery. ## Strategic Focus - **Three-part vision**: (1) Become the best-in-class toolkit for scaling an IRL community, (2) Incept the next generation of IRL entrepreneurs, and (3) Become the go-to marketplace for finding social experiences. - **Scaling beyond nightlife**: Expanding the platform to serve any type of experience creator, from run clubs to fashion shows. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: “100% IRL team” – on-site in NYC’s SoHo office with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration. Team dinners, quarterly offsites, and a community-driven atmosphere. - **Benefits**: Full health insurance (medical, dental, vision) covered by Posh for employee and dependents; competitive equity; 12 weeks paid parental leave (birthing) / 6 weeks (non-birthing); unlimited PTO; Equinox gym membership; daily Uber Eats credit; lunch provided daily. - **Engineering culture**: Practical skills assessments, on-site interviews with cross-functional teams, and a focus on building for scale.
