This makes large-scale trial court research possible for the first time. Our tools enable attorneys to analyze judge tendencies, evaluate opposing counsel, find and assess expert witnesses, and see which arguments and strategies have succeeded in similar cases, so they can assess risk earlier, save time on research, and develop more effective, data-backed case strategies. We’re revolutionizing the way legal professionals access and use trial court data to make informed decisions. As we scale, we’re looking for a thoughtful and execution-focused Product Designer to help shape the future of our product experience. About the Role: You’ll be responsible for driving new business and acquiring net-new logos, with the majority of your time spent on outbound prospecting into legal organizations and adjacent markets. This includes identifying target accounts, cold-calling prospects, writing personalized outreach, following up on inbound and marketing-generated leads, and building a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities. You’ll engage directly with legal professionals—including attorneys, partners, paralegals, general counsel, litigation support teams, and risk teams—so prior legal or legaltech experience is required. You should be comfortable speaking the language of legal buyers, understanding their workflows, and positioning Trellis in a way that resonates with their day-to-day needs. While most of your prospecting will focus on law firms and legal departments, you’ll also identify opportunities across related industries such as insurance carriers, academia, fintech, and other organizations that can benefit from legal intelligence and court data. You’ll own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close, including discovery calls, product demos, consultative follow-up, negotiation, and handoff. You’ll also maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account data in HubSpot to ensure strong pipeline hygiene and clear visibility into deal flow. As a key representative of Trellis, you’ll bring a thoughtful, consultative approach to every customer interaction—building trust with sophisticated buyers, converting prospects into customers, and helping create long-term advocates for the platform. What You'll Do: - Drive net-new logo acquisition through high-volume outbound prospecting, including cold calls, targeted email outreach, account research, and personalized follow-up. - Prospect primarily into legal buyers—including attorneys, partners, paralegals, general counsel, litigation support teams, and risk teams—while also identifying opportunities across insurance, academia, fintech, and other adjacent markets. - Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close, including discovery, product demos, consultative follow-up, negotiation, and handoff. - Maintain strong pipeline hygiene in HubSpot, ensuring accurate activity tracking, forecasting, and visibility into deal progress. Who You Are: - Prior experience selling into the legal industry, legaltech, law firms, corporate legal departments, or other legal buyers. - Proven success in outbound sales, cold-calling, and building pipeline from net-new accounts. - Ability to confidently engage with legal professionals, understand their workflows, and communicate value in a credible, consultative way. - Experience owning sales opportunities from prospecting through close in a B2B SaaS or technology environment. Nice to Haves: - Experience selling to attorneys, general counsel, law firm partners, paralegals, litigation teams, or risk/compliance stakeholders. - Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools, with strong habits around activity tracking and pipeline management. - Experience prospecting into adjacent industries such as insurance carriers, academia, fintech, or enterprise legal departments. - Background in a startup or high-growth environment where sales reps are expected to be proactive, resourceful, and highly accountable.
