## About the Team & Mission

42dot의 자율주행 VLA 팀은 Vision-Language-Action (VLA) 모델을 통해 차량이 복잡한 도로 상황을 이해하고, 판단을 주행 행동으로 연결하도록 만드는 기술을 개발합니다. 실제 주행 데이터, 모델 학습, closed-loop simulation과 실차 검증을 연결해 모델의 취약점을 발견하고 주행 성능을 지속적으로 개선하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 이 포지션은 LLM/VLM 기반 agent와 tool calling을 활용해 자율주행 모델의 평가 사이클을 자동화합니다. 주행 결과 평가, failure triage와 데이터 생성 과정에서 agent가 기여할 수 있는 문제를 발굴하고, 아이디어 설계부터 실험, 검증, 평가 pipeline 통합까지 주도합니다. 반복적인 평가 업무를 줄이고, 평가 결과를 더 빠르게 모델 개선으로 연결하는 agent 시스템을 만들어갈 분을 찾습니다.

## Responsibilities

- VLM이 주행 영상, simulation log와 평가 지표를 조회하는 도구를 선택하고 호출할 수 있도록 agent의 reasoning loop와 실행 구조를 설계합니다.
- Context management, tool routing과 오류 복구를 통해 여러 단계의 주행 평가와 failure triage를 수행하는 agent workflow를 개발합니다.
- Agent가 수집한 근거를 바탕으로 driving decision과 추정 causal factor의 structured pseudo-label을 생성하고 품질을 개선합니다.
- Human annotation과 counterfactual scenario로 agent의 판단과 label 품질을 검증하고, workflow를 closed-loop evaluation pipeline에 통합합니다.

## Qualifications

- Software Engineering, Machine Learning 또는 AI application 관련 경력 3년 이상 또는 이에 준하는 연구/개발 역량을 보유하신 분.
- Python 기반 AI application 또는 데이터 pipeline을 설계하고 구현한 경험이 있으신 분.
- Tool calling 또는 multi-step workflow를 포함한 LLM/VLM 기반 시스템을 개발하고 실행 결과를 평가한 경험이 있으신 분.
- Agent의 판단과 label 품질을 검증할 평가 지표와 dataset을 설계하고 failure case를 분석할 수 있으신 분.
- 해외 오피스와 기술적 이슈를 논의하고 협업할 수 있는 영어 커뮤니케이션 역량을 보유하신 분

## Preferred Qualifications

- 자율주행 데이터 또는 closed-loop simulation을 활용한 scene understanding과 failure analysis 경험이 있으신 분.
- VLM fine-tuning, auto-labeling 또는 causal reasoning 경험이 있으신 분.
