Hospital Attendant / Evening Cleaning Assistant

Position Type: Part-Time

- Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM

## About Us

We are a busy, compassionate animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hospital Attendant to assist with end-of-day cleaning and facility maintenance.

Position Summary The Hospital Attendant plays an important role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our patients, clients, and veterinary team. This position focuses primarily on evening cleaning duties and ensuring the hospital is prepared for the next business day.

## Responsibilities

- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the hospital
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Wipe down counters, doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed
- Launder hospital linens and towels
- Follow hospital safety and infection-control protocols
- Perform other weekly and monthly housekeeping duties as assigned

## Qualifications

- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in an animal hospital environment around dogs and cats
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience is preferred but not required
