If that thought feels overwhelming, you might want to pause here, but if it sparks excitement...read on In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible. Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work. The Opportunity We are creating four new Area Business Manager (ABM) positions within Field Sales, one for each of our four Sales areas. This is a newly established role designed to close a gap between our area-level field teams and senior leadership — bringing consistent, on-the-ground presence to the field rather than relying on periodic check-ins. Reporting directly to the Area Sales Director (ASD) in the region, the Area Business Manager will act as a direct extension of the field, spending sustained time within their assigned area to build relationships and surface insight the Area Sales Director can act on. In doing so, this role gives the Area Sales Director a dedicated resource for gathering and elevating field-level detail — rather than personally coordinating with each Regional Sales Director or Therapeutic Sales Specialist (TSS) to respond to requests from above — and rolls that insight up through a single, standardized channel so senior leadership has continuous visibility into the field rather than point-in-time snapshots. ## What You'll Do - Maintain a consistent, on-the-ground presence across their assigned area — “digging in” at the local level rather than relying on periodic check-ins. - Lead TSS-only intel calls, deep-diving into individual accounts and prescribers to surface account-level detail. - Track and analyze new patients written within the assigned area. - Collect and synthesize field insights, including competitive intelligence, account-level dynamics, and emerging trends, for example: - Drug shortages and their downstream impact on ordering and scheduling - Competitor counter-detailing approaches, tracked by center and by individual HCP - Grant activity across areas and its influence on patient access - Emerging clinical or safety patterns worth escalating - Roll insight up to senior leadership on a consistent basis through a single, standardized channel. - Respond to needs assessments from the field, ensuring area-level requests and issues are resolved rather than left to float across Marketing, Medical, and/or the Senior Leadership Team. - Gather and share data on HCP targeting and disseminate best practices across specialty areas. - Lead structured training calls in partnership with the Training Manager, helping ensure Therapeutic Sales Specialists are consistently equipped with current, relevant knowledge. - Serve as a ready resource for Regional Sales Directors covering a region on an interim basis, and for reps navigating complex accounts, providing continuity and deep, ongoing area knowledge. - Individual contributor role- no direct reports Where You'll Work This is a field-based position in the Central region. ## Who You Are - 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including field sales, sales leadership, or field-facing commercial roles; rare disease, specialty, or cardiology experience preferred. - BS/BA required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required. - A track record of building trusted relationships with field teams and translating on-the-ground observations into insight leadership can act on. - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track trends across new patient volume, account dynamics, and competitive activity. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex field intelligence into clear, standardized updates for senior leadership. - Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy across a large geography, prioritizing, and organizing independently. - Ability to influence without direct authority, working cross-functionally with Regional Sales Directors, Therapeutic Sales Specialists, Training, Marketing, and Medical. - Adherence to BridgeBio's high ethical standards and all applicable compliance requirements. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50%+) across assigned areas, including evenings and weekends as business needs require. ## #LI-LN1 At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits.
