## ABOUT THE ROLE

The Assistant Talent Buyer at BeatGig will play a crucial role in supporting our Talent Buyers across college, corporate, and venue segments of the business. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the live entertainment industry while contributing to the success of a fast-growing company. You’ll assist in booking top-tier artists, managing transactions, and ensuring seamless communication between artists, managers, and buyers. Your work will directly impact BeatGig’s mission to deliver the simplest way to book live entertainment. This role demands a detail-oriented, organized individual with strong communication skills and a passion for live entertainment.

## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Master the Platform: Learn BeatGig’s services and value proposition to effectively support Talent Buyers and clients.
- Build a Pipeline: Research and develop a database of prospective clients, acquiring contact information for outreach.
- Engage Prospects: Conduct outreach to potential clients, addressing objections to secure bookings.
- Artist Booking: Check artist availability and assist in negotiating terms with artists, managers, and agents.
- Contract Management: Secure signed booking contracts and ensure accuracy in all transaction details.
- Account Completion: Assist in finalizing artist accounts and ensuring all required documentation is in place.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with care and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Additional Duties: Complete any other responsibilities as assigned to support Talent Buyers and the broader team
