This role manages and directs all back-of-house operations including inventory accuracy, replenishment, shipment processing, operational standards, and organization, while also supervising and directing sales floor leadership and store presentation. As Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, this individual has responsibility for leading and managing daily operations, directs the work of store associates, upholds visual and operational standards, and ensures the store consistently reflects the Thuma brand. The Associate Store Manager customarily and regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion regarding significant store operations and personnel matters. You Will - Manage and direct operational functions, including inventory management, replenishment, shipment processing, stock organization, and inventory accuracy. - Lead execution of daily operational standards, including opening and closing procedures, store organization, cleanliness, and visual presentation. - Independently evaluate operational performance, identify business and operational opportunities, and implement process improvements that enhance store operations, productivity, profitability and the overall Guest experience . - Serve as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence, providing leadership, decision-making, and support for daily store operations. - Direct the work of store associates; coach, develop, evaluate, and mentor team members; and recommend personnel actions. - Exercise independent judgment in resolving escalated Guest concerns and operational issues that materially impact store performance and the Guest experience. - Serve as the store's operational expert across systems and processes, leveraging platforms such as Shopify, NetSuite, and Gladly to support the team and resolve complex issues. - Regularly supervise and direct the work of multiple employees. - Participate in workforce planning, scheduling, and talent development for the store. - Partner with the Store Manager to establish and execute sales, operational, and staffing strategies.
