The company offers access to over 1,000 unique tech items on flexible and financially convenient terms. A pioneer of the circular economy, Grover refurbishes and recirculates devices to help eliminate e-waste. We are looking for an enthusiastic German-speaking Key Account Manager to join the B2B Sales team at Grover, full-time and a minimum of 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) at our Berlin HQ. As a Key Account Manager (B2B), you will own a book of Grover’s existing B2B accounts, including some of our larger and most active customers, and your job is to grow them. Reporting to the Team Lead B2B, you will build real relationships with your customers, meet them regularly, and understand their device roadmap well enough to expand the account as they hire, refresh, and open new sites. You will own the renewal moment, so that devices reaching end of term get renewed and upgraded rather than returned. You will build the forecast for your book and then execute against it. Your headline metric is net revenue retention: keeping the revenue in your book at 100% or better. You will also take on new accounts handed over from our Account Executives each quarter. If you like owning relationships, finding growth inside an account, and being accountable for a number, this role offers strong ownership and progression. 🎯 What you will contribute: - Own a book of existing B2B accounts and carry a net revenue retention and expansion target across it - Grow accounts through upsell and cross-sell as customers add headcount, refresh devices, and open new teams or sites (new joiner orders, upgrades, additional device categories) - Meet your customers regularly and run business reviews, so you understand their headcount and device roadmap before they buy elsewhere - Own the renewal and end-of-term moment: work expiring subscriptions ahead of time so devices are renewed, upgraded, or replaced rather than returned - Build and maintain a plan for every key account, covering the growth opportunities, the risks, and the stakeholder map - Own the forecast for your book: build a credible expansion and renewal forecast, keep it current, and deliver against it - Absorb new accounts handed over from Account Executives each quarter and ramp them quickly - Multi-thread relationships across procurement, IT, finance, and operations within each account - Work with Operations and Risk to unblock orders, and flag billing or process friction so it does not slow account growth - Provide structured feedback to influence product, pricing, and process 🤝 What you bring: - 3 to 5 years in B2B account management, key or strategic accounts, or a commercial customer success role carrying an NRR or expansion target, ideally within Subscription-, Leasing-, or Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) models - A track record of growing existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell, with numbers you can talk to - Experience owning renewals and protecting revenue against downgrades at end of contract or end of term - A real account cadence: you meet your customers, run business reviews, and keep a plan per account - Forecasting ability: you can build an expansion and renewal forecast and then hold the number - Strong presentation skills along with relationship and stakeholder management across procurement, IT, finance, and operations - Comfort with a high-volume recurring model, not only a handful of large deals - Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive - An ownership mentality and accountability for the revenue in your book - Fluent German (C1 minimum) and strong English skills 🚀 The Grover Way - How We Drive Success: - Own It: We take ownership seriously and define what success looks like. We drive shared ownership and don't wait - we drive. We keep one another accountable and take responsibility when issues arise. - Challenge, Decide, and Commit: We engage in proactive support, active listening, and healthy conflict to reach the best outcomes. We value diverse perspectives and, once a decision is made, we commit to it fully. - Empower and Grow: We enable, trust, and coach one another toward high performance, always thinking and acting like owners. We seek growth, apply feedback, and support the development of our peers. - Respect, Transparency, and Clarity: We strive for clear, respectful, and open communication with no surprises. We simplify complex information so everyone knows the "what, why, and how". ❤️‍🔥 What you will love about us: - A diverse global team of 75 nationalities (and counting!) - Virtual or In-person Coaching Sessions with the Fürstenberg Institut - Physical health support with Urban Sports Club - Annual learning budget of 750€ - 4 Volunteer days per year - 15 remote business days per year to work abroad - BVG monthly discount to drive you everywhere in Berlin - Exclusive Grover Tech discount for you & your loved ones - Engaging, open office located in Berlin-Schöneberg with regular events Embark on a rewarding journey with us, where your impact is felt, and together, we cultivate a more circular world. 💚 We are looking forward to e-meeting you! 🚀 ## About Grover ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Grover is the global leader in technology rentals, enabling consumers and businesses to subscribe to tech products on a flexible monthly basis instead of buying them. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series C, with total funding of ~€1.4 billion / $2.4 billion across multiple rounds and debt facilities) - **Headquarters**: Berlin, Germany - **Founded**: 2015 - **Founders**: Michael Cassau ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Technology rental / subscription services (circular economy) - **Target customers**: B2C (individuals) and B2B (businesses, SMBs, enterprises); operates in 19 countries including Germany, Austria, Spain, Netherlands, and the United States. - **Mission or purpose**: “Make exceptional technology accessible to everyone – because technology is a basic human right.” Grover aims to shift the economy from “buy-use-dispose” to a circular, sustainable model. ## Products & Services - **Grover (B2C)**: A subscription service offering over 3,000 tech products – smartphones, laptops, VR gear, wearables, smart home devices – on a flexible monthly rental basis.
