From bootstrapped beginnings to sustained profitability — all without venture capital funding — ClickTime has tracked over $210 billion worth of employee time, helping customers improve workforce efficiency, profitability, and resource planning. While headquartered in San Francisco, ClickTime's team works remotely across the United States. ## About the Role ClickTime helps finance and operations leaders turn messy time data into accurate labor costs for budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. The product works. Customers stay. The next stage of growth is getting in front of the finance and operations professionals who need us but don't yet know we exist — controllers, project managers, and the finance and ops leaders they work alongside. As our B2B Social Media and Events Manager, you'll own ClickTime's social strategy and partner on event strategy, building visibility and credibility across the full buying circle. You'll produce the content that makes both programs work, and show up as a recognizable, credible face of the brand. This is a creator role. Successful candidates are comfortable on camera, enjoy learning complex topics, and publish consistently without needing a lot of hand-holding. ## Responsibilities - Own social strategy and execution: set the approach, build a publishing cadence, and grow an engaged following across the finance and ops buying circle - Shape event strategy: help pick the right conferences, then conduct live coverage, interviews, and recap content onsite - Produce content that fuels both programs: short-form video, carousels, infographics, event recaps, product explainers - Use AI to scale production without sacrificing quality - Participate credibly in finance and ops communities (e.g. LinkedIn, relevant subreddits, industry forums) ## Qualifications - 3+ years in B2B social media, content marketing, or a creator role for a professional audience - Track record growing a LinkedIn or B2B social channel with real engagement - Experience running event content — live coverage, recaps, conference representation - Comfortable on camera and representing a company publicly, at events and online - Real AI tool use in your content workflow, with the judgment to know when output isn't good enough - Able to earn trust across a finance/ops audience; bonus points if you've created for finance, accounting, FP&A, or enterprise SaaS audiences - Open to travel for events, roughly 2–6 times a year as the program grows ClickTime provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. ## About ClickTime ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: ClickTime provides a time tracking and labor cost visibility platform that transforms hours worked into finance-ready, audit-ready data for mid-market and enterprise teams. - **Entity Type**: Private (Bootstrapped, management-owned, debt-free) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, USA - **Founded**: 1999 - **Founders**: Alex Mann and Harold Mann ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Time tracking, labor cost management, project accounting, workforce analytics - **Target customers**: B2B – mid-market to enterprise teams (50–5,000 employees), professional services firms, nonprofits, and government agencies - **Mission or purpose**: Help businesses align employees’ activities with strategic priorities and fully quantify where their time and money actually go. ## Products & Services - **[ClickTime Platform](https://www.clicktime.com/)**: SaaS time and expense tracking software with AI-powered automatic time capture, real-time categorization (billable, CapEx, R&D, OpEx), approval workflows, audit trails, and integrations with finance systems. Used for labor cost allocation, capitalization, R&D tax credits, grant compliance, billing disputes, and headcount planning. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (company is privately held and bootstrapped) - **Key Metric**: Annual revenue estimated at $12.2M (source: LinkedIn company page, 2026); over 2 billion hours tracked since inception; $2.3B in costs recovered annually; 40M+ hours tracked annually - **Notable Investors/Partners**: None – the company is management-owned and debt-free, with no external investors - **Growth Signals**: 30 employees across 5 countries (US, Bangladesh, Canada, Pakistan, Uruguay); consistent profitability; expanding AI capabilities for automatic time capture; trusted for 26 years by enterprises and governments ## Competitive Advantages - **Bootstrapped & independent**: No investor pressure allows full focus on customer needs rather than chasing trends. - **Finance-ready data**: Time categorized at entry (billable, CapEx, R&D) so finance teams get usable data without manual cleanup. Built-in audit trail and approval workflows provide defensible records. - **Deep integrations**: Seamless connections with finance systems, Jira, and other tools. - **26 years of expertise**: Gained insights from 2 billion hours of customer data across industries worldwide. ## Strategic Focus - Continuing to enhance AI to automate time capture and reduce manual entry. - Expanding into larger enterprise accounts and complex compliance use cases (R&D tax credits, grant reporting, cost capitalization). - Maintaining a lean, profitable operation while growing headcount and market reach. ## Why Work Here - **Remote/hybrid flexibility**: Work remotely from anywhere in the US or from the San Francisco office; no mandated in-office days. - **Culture**: Small team (11–50 employees), people-first mentality, focus on solving hard problems, not on hours worked. Annual Team Week in SF brings the whole company together. - **Benefits**: 100% health insurance coverage for employees, equity, 401k matching, development programs, contribution matching to causes you care about, remote and in-person events. - **Career growth**: Regular 1:1s with manager, clear career ladder, funding for learning and development, cross-functional projects, brown bag sessions, and a flourishing internship program. - **Work-life balance**: Company values working smart; measured by solved problems and impact, not by all-nighters. ## Sources 1.
