We hire the person not the CV; if you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you! ## Responsibilities - Working with product managers, researchers, and other engineers to define cloud-native backend systems and project requirements. - Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services with a strong focus on cloud architecture. - Writing clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code (with opportunities to use Go or Rust where appropriate). - Deploying and operating production systems on AWS with an emphasis on reliability, security, and performance. - Using Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud resources. ## Requirements - Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Independent and self-driven learner with a strong interest in containerised backend engineering. - Strong Python experience - ## Experience with Cloud-Native system design and hosting - Experience with debugging via observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Loki.
