We're at an inflection point: the technology is here, the customers are real, and the story is just beginning. We're looking for someone to own how that story grows. This isn't a channel-management role, and it isn't just social. You'll be responsible for growing the Standard Bots brand across every organic surface—social, content, community, creators, and culture—turning attention into audience and audience into demand. You'll expand on our voice, produce content that connects, and build the engine that makes Standard Bots widely known as America’s industrial robot company. You'll work across the company—product, sales, customers, leadership—and partner closely with brand designers and video producers/editors to create high-quality, high-velocity content that drives results. That might mean showing our made-in-America story in the factory, telling impactful customer stories, orchestrating a product launch moment, or inventing formats no one in robotics has even tried. If you live online, have sharp instincts for what works (and what doesn't), and want to define how an entire category gets told—this role is for you. ## WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own organic brand growth end-to-end: strategy, voice, channels, content engine, and results. - Build and run Standard Bots' social presence as the tip of the spear—identifying where to play, and how to play differently on each platform. - Partner with video producers/editors to make high-quality, high-velocity content, and shape the editorial calendar that drives it. - Extend the brand beyond our own channels: creators, communities, earned moments, and partnerships that put Standard Bots in front of new audiences. - Tell stories across product, customers, team, and culture—not just announcements - Engage actively online—knowing who to follow, when to participate, and how to show up credibly on behalf of the company. - Turn brand attention into measurable growth: define the KPIs that connect audience, engagement, and pipeline; report on them; and pivot fast when something isn't working. - Work cross-functionally with comms, brand design, performance marketing, and leadership to align on narrative and moments. - Experiment constantly—formats, tone, timing—and double down on what works - Build the function from the ground up: systems, cadence, analytics, and eventually the team behind it. ## WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Chronically online, with strong taste and intuition for internet-native content - A track record of growing a brand's audience—organically, measurably, and with a distinctive voice. - A clear point of view on how companies should show up online today, and the judgment to know where the line is and how to push it without crossing it. - Comfort operating at the leadership table: you can set strategy, defend it with data, and translate internal complexity into clear external stories. - Experience navigating multiple stakeholders—engineering, executives, customers—and getting great content out of all of them. - Genuine excitement about robotics, physical AI, and the real-world impact of what we're building. - Interest in new media and evolving formats—not just following trends, but helping shape them. - You should have the maturity, taste, and instincts to make decisions that carry weight, and the ambition to build something bigger than a channel. ## WHY THIS ROLE - You'll drive brand growth for a company at the center of a major technological shift. - You'll have access to real-world, highly visual storytelling opportunities most brands would kill for: robots in action, American factories, customer deployments. - You'll work with a team that values speed, clarity, and strong opinions. - You'll own something end-to-end, see the impact immediately, and grow the function—and your scope—as we scale. New York, NY (in-person) with regular time at our Glen Cove factory and on the road at trade shows and customer facilities. ## About Standard Bots ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Standard Bots is an American AI-native industrial robot manufacturer that builds affordable, easy-to-use six-axis robot arms designed and assembled in the USA. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series stage not publicly disclosed) - **Headquarters**: Glen Cove, New York, USA - **Founded**: 2020 - **Founders**: Evan Beard (Founder & CEO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Industrial Robotics / Manufacturing / AI - **Target customers**: B2B — small to large businesses in manufacturing, machining, warehousing, and industrial automation - **Mission**: "Propel human productivity through the world’s most accessible robots." ## Products & Services - **Bolt**: Entry-level six-axis robot arm (900mm reach, 8kg payload) starting at $29,500. Designed for light-duty automation in tight spaces — pick & place, inspection, and assembly. - **Spark**: Mid-range workhorse robot (1,300mm reach, 18kg payload) starting at $39,500. Built for machining, welding, finishing, pick & place, and inspection. - **Thor**: Heavy-duty robot (2,000mm reach, 18kg payload) starting at $49,500. Includes Miller Auto Delta Weld package for welding applications. Built for bimanual tasks, palletizing, and heavy applications. - **AI-Native Control Platform**: Robots are programmed through demonstration (no code, no PhD required). Foundation models generalize across variations. Real-time AI-driven torque control. Pre-built playbooks for common tasks, native integrations, simulator, and remote access dashboards. - **Vision-Guided Inspection**: Automated defect detection with vision-guided checks. ## Market Standing - **Valuation**: Not publicly disclosed - **Key Metric**: Private company; funding details not publicly available - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Not publicly disclosed - **Growth Signals**: Expanding manufacturing operations with goal to produce everything "from metal in to robots out" in America by 2027. Actively hiring across multiple engineering and operations roles. Growing product line with three distinct robot models (Bolt, Spark, Thor). ## Competitive Advantages - **AI-native architecture**: First industrial robot joints designed for real-time AI-driven torque control; robots learn through demonstration rather than complex programming — "no PhD required." - **Cost leadership**: Starting at $29,500, significantly cheaper than legacy industrial robot solutions while claiming 3x faster performance. - **Vertical integration**: Designs nearly every part and assembles every final product in-house in Glen Cove, NY. Goal to manufacture everything in America by 2027. - **Ease of use**: Program complex routines from a tablet; pre-built playbooks; no-code interface; vision-guided inspection with ±0.1 Nm repeatability. ## Strategic Focus - Scaling domestic manufacturing to full vertical integration (metal in to robots out) by 2027. - Expanding AI capabilities with foundation models that generalize across unseen variations. - Growing product line to cover light-duty (Bolt), mid-range (Spark), and heavy-duty (Thor) applications. - Building out software, firmware, and AI teams to deepen the "AI-native" robotics platform. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Mission-driven environment focused on "making tomorrow easier" through accessible robotics. Emphasis on hardware, software, firmware, and electronics integration. - **Work Policy**: Hybrid — employees typically work on-site 3 days a week. Offices in Glen Cove, NY; NYC; and Seattle. - **Team Size**: ~130 total employees, ~25 in Product + Tech. - **Engineering Focus**: Roles span embedded systems, motion planning, full-stack, firmware, AI research, and core platform engineering. Technology stack includes modern robotics and AI tooling. - **Growth Stage**: Early-stage, fast-growing company (founded 2020) with significant manufacturing expansion plans. Opportunity to shape both product and culture. ## Sources 1. [standardbots.com](https://standardbots.com/) 2. [standardbots.com/about](https://standardbots.com/about) 3.
