The future of payments is being built today, and at Paymentology, we are looking for people who want to help shape it. We power card issuing for leading banks, fintechs and digital brands across the globe, and as we continue to grow, we are looking for curious, ambitious people who thrive on solving complex challenges, embrace innovation and want to make a tangible impact at global scale. The Brand Manager plays a critical role in shaping, growing, and protecting Paymentology's brand as the company enters its scale-up phase following our rebrand. This role is responsible for ensuring the Paymentology brand is consistently and accurately represented across campaigns, products, client communications, partnerships, and market presence. Acting as the guardian of the brand, the Brand Manager provides guidance, governance, and strategic oversight to ensure every touchpoint reinforces Paymentology's positioning as the trusted growth partner for banks and fintechs. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who combines creative instinct with commercial thinking. The Brand Manager will help position Paymentology as the category expert in fintech and banking, grow share of voice, strengthen market presence, and ensure the brand stands out in a competitive global landscape. The role requires someone who can influence and collaborate across product, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to embed the brand into strategic initiatives such as new product launches, go-to-market programmes, and client experiences. Rather than executing every activity, the Brand Manager is the custodian of the brand—setting standards, providing direction, challenging where necessary, and ensuring every output meets Paymentology's brand principles. ## Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy and Governance - Own the day-to-day management of the Paymentology brand and ensure consistent application of the visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging. - Translate the brand strategy into practical plans that support business growth, reputation, and category leadership. - Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, governance frameworks, and approval processes. - Act as the primary point of contact for brand guidance, supporting teams across the business with brand-related queries and decisions. - Review and challenge brand outputs to ensure they reinforce Paymentology's positioning as a trusted, modern, and expert B2B fintech partner. Campaign Development and Go-to-Market - Lead brand campaigns that increase awareness, differentiation, and market relevance. - Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales to ensure campaigns and product launches align with the Paymentology brand. - Develop compelling narratives that translate complex propositions into clear, engaging stories for banks, fintechs, and payment providers. - Ensure campaign concepts, messaging, and creative executions consistently reflect the brand strategy. Market Presence and Share of Voice - Measure brand performance, awareness, and share of voice across priority markets. - Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for Paymentology to strengthen its market position. - Use market insights and analytics to refine messaging, improve brand visibility, and inform strategic decisions. - Support the business in becoming recognised not only as a technology provider, but as a trusted thought leader within the payments industry. Brand Experiences - Define how the Paymentology brand comes to life across client-facing experiences, including events, executive engagements, masterclasses, and strategic forums. - Partner with the Events Manager to ensure every experience reflects the quality, personality, and standards of the Paymentology brand. - Provide creative direction and ideas that elevate client experiences while maintaining consistency across all brand touchpoints. - Develop brand frameworks, messaging, and experience principles rather than owning event delivery. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with teams across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership on strategic initiatives such as product launches, go-to-market programmes, and business transformation projects. - Influence stakeholders to ensure brand considerations are embedded from the outset rather than applied at the end. - Build alignment across teams while balancing business objectives with brand consistency. - Manage brand approvals, priorities, and governance across multiple concurrent initiatives. Creative Direction and Brand Assets - Partner with the Design Manager to ensure all creative assets meet Paymentology's visual standards and brand principles. - Provide creative briefs, strategic direction, and constructive feedback rather than producing design work directly. - Support the development of messaging, campaign narratives, executive communications, and client-facing content. - Ensure all copy, visuals, and presentations are distinctive, consistent, and aligned to the Paymentology brand. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Strong brand management experience within an agency, corporate, or high-growth environment. - Proven experience growing and protecting brands within complex B2B organisations, ideally across fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise technology. - Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect brand investment to measurable business outcomes. - Excellent storytelling, positioning, and messaging capabilities. - Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders and challenge constructively. - Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously. - Commercial awareness and the ability to understand products, markets, and customer needs. - Experience measuring brand awareness, share of voice, campaign effectiveness, and market visibility. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience briefing and managing agencies, creative partners, and cross-functional teams. - Comfortable working in a fast-moving global scale-up environment. - Strong understanding of premium B2B brands and how organisations such as Stripe, Amazon, and leading enterprise technology companies build consistency, trust, and market distinction at scale. ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, Business, Journalism, or a related discipline. - Strong written and spoken English. - Demonstrated experience managing or developing a brand within a fast-paced business environment. Years of Experience - 5+ years' experience in Brand Management, Marketing, or Communications. - Experience within an agency or corporate brand function, ideally in fintech, banking, technology, or another B2B enterprise environment. - Experience leading brand campaigns, go-to-market initiatives, and multi-stakeholder strategic projects. - Experience using data, insight, and performance metrics to measure and optimise brand growth.
