## Job description

About the role:

Act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, leading requirements management, process analysis, solution design, and user acceptance activities. Leverage strong business acumen, analytical expertise, and stakeholder management skills to deliver scalable solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring data quality, governance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business outcomes. Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions with cross-functional teams and senior business leaders. Analyze, document, and validate business requirements, current-state processes, and future-state operating models. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and testable acceptance criteria. Govern requirements throughout the project lifecycle to maintain consistency, traceability, and alignment across all levels. Develop and maintain business process maps, data flows, source-to-target mappings, and reporting relationships. Define KPI frameworks, business metrics, calculation logic, dimensions, filters, exception handling rules, and data-quality standards. Establish and maintain business glossaries, metadata repositories, data catalogs, and documentation standards. Advise stakeholders on optimal business and technology solutions, balancing business value, risk, scalability, and implementation considerations. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including planning, test strategy, test case development, defect management, and business sign-off. Coordinate business participation during testing, deployment, release management, and post-implementation support activities. Collaborate closely with data engineering, analytics, architecture, and project delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to business analysis best practices, standards, and capability development. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement and business innovation initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Significant experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise-scale data, analytics, or digital transformation projects. Proven experience leading business analysis activities across multiple initiatives and stakeholder groups. Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment among diverse stakeholder groups. Strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills. Experience managing requirements from discovery through implementation and adoption. Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements management, and data analysis techniques.Strong understanding of reporting, KPI development, data governance, and data quality management. Experience using data analysis and visualization tools. Working knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and file-based interfaces.
