Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst and Operations Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a strong background in both general business operations and database management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day activities while also providing key support for data-driven projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from optimizing workflows to performing data analysis using SQL.

## Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

- Oversee and improve daily operational processes and workflows.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of business activities.
- Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Handle logistics, inventory management, or supply chain tasks as needed.
- Act as a point of contact for operational inquiries and problem-solving.

Data & Technical Support:

- Utilize SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data from various back-end systems.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights on operational performance.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity and accuracy within databases.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand system architecture and data flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

General Support:

- Quickly grasp and adapt to new systems, software, and processes.
- Provide administrative support to the operations team and management.
- Develop and update procedural documentation.

## Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Operations Coordinator, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar operations-focused role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) is a must-have. The ability to write basic queries, joins, and aggregations is essential.
- Solid understanding of back-end systems and database structures. You should be comfortable with concepts like tables, schemas, and data relationships.
- Experience in integrating operations tools e.g. Zendesk, Asana
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A quick learner with the ability to understand complex processes and new technologies rapidly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
