As a BP&A team member, you will create reporting and analysis that has a global impact.  Your projects will include collaboration with teammates in both our Sydney and Amsterdam offices.  Together, you will analyze big data and extract valuable information, making it readily available in the decision making process. You will also get the benefit of seeing the full data cycle from extraction to modelling, visualization and, and finally presenting the results. The ideal candidate acts as a true partner to the business and is both technical and business-savvy, displaying strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You’ll be responsible for: - Execution and implementation of all (Global) BP&A aspects of strategic company projects. - Database development, maintenance, ETL process improvement and automation (ETLs mainly in python, json, qlik (bnf)). - Report development and maintenance in BI tooling in line with business requirements. - Managing the pipeline from development to production for the data and reporting layers. - You will act as a true partner to all areas of the business in our Sydney office - working across all departments in the business to identify and collect requirements to support any analysis / reporting needs. - We strive to create cohesive global teams and in addition to the local team in Sydney, you will closely collaborate with teams in Amsterdam and Chicago. You’ll likely bring to the table: - Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or other quantitative backgrounds (Preferred). - 5+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis / business intelligence. - Strong Python commercial experience (PyCharm experience preferred but not essential). - Experience with developing business reporting applications (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview / Qlik Sense). - Proficiency in SQL. - Experience with Git and JIRA preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Interest in and preferably exposure to finance processes. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong business acumen, and someone who thrives within a dynamic, quickly changing environment. ## About Us IMC is a research-driven trading firm where quantitative modeling, machine learning, and engineering shape how modern markets are traded.
