What You Will Be Doing: - Assesses client requirements and assists in development of specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents. - Prepares and modifies charrette reports and assists in developing construction schedules for projects. - Serves as technical liaison and coordinates design components with other design disciplines, as needed. - Assists in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for proposed projects. - Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities. - May need to attends onsite or virtual client meetings. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. - 10+ years of relevant civil engineering experience. - Professional Engineer (PE) Registration. - Working knowledge of civil engineering including site, grading and earthwork, surface water management and stormwater detention, and infrastructure and utility design. - Working knowledge and experience with Civil 3D products. - Working knowledge of a variety of software applications including hydrology and hydraulics modeling programs, Excel, Word and GIS applications. - Experience with International Building Code (IBC), Department of War Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS). OCONUS military planning and design experience a plus. - General knowledge of construction techniques and an ability to read plans and specifications. - Experience in and fully capable of using or learning the latest remote communication software required.  Ideally experienced in the use of Microsoft Teams. - Strong oral and technical writing skills. - Ability to work in a team environment with multiple disciplines - Must be willing and able to travel in Indo-Pacific region – approximately 15-20% total travel per year. Other Requirements: - Ideally, the candidate is a U.S. citizen. - Must be able to successfully pass required background checks to obtain a Common Access Card. - Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. - Must be available and willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
