We are pioneering a transformational approach to treating cancer by harnessing the ability of the human immune system to recognise and attack diverse cancer cells in each patient. The company’s first product, AMTAGVI (lifileucel), an autologous T-cell therapy using TIL, was recently approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and is indicated for the treatment of advanced melanoma. Iovance is preparing to launch this novel treatment in the Australian market. The Commercial Lead, Australia is the senior commercial leader accountable for establishing, commercialising and scaling Iovance’s business in the Australian market. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Own and lead the Australian commercialisation strategy, launch plan and ongoing business performance for AMTAGVI and Proleukin. - Hold profit-and-loss accountability for the Australian business, including revenue, operating expenses, forecasts, budgets, investments, resource allocation and profitability. - Establish annual and long-range commercial plans, performance measures and resource priorities aligned with global business objectives. - Lead the full sales cycle across authorised treatment centres and referral networks, from opportunity identification, account planning and customer education through patient identification, referral, treatment scheduling, completed infusion, revenue generation and ongoing account growth. - Achieve patient infusion, demand and revenue targets for AMTAGVI and Proleukin while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies. - Build and manage the Australian commercial forecast using treatment-centre readiness, referral activity, patient identification, scheduling, manufacturing, infusion and revenue data. - Develop and maintain executive, clinical and operational relationships with treatment centres, referral sites, health-service leaders, clinicians, Commonwealth and state health authorities, public and private funders, reimbursement stakeholders, hospital decision-makers and other partners required to establish and expand TIL therapy in Australia. - Lead the TIL treatment-centre authorisation process using risk-based tools for authorisation, training, monitoring and disqualification, and provide ongoing operational and quality oversight of authorised treatment centres. - Lead operational meetings with medical leadership from medical oncology, surgery and cell therapy to establish a standard-of-care pathway for TIL therapy. - Lead cross-functional treatment-centre meetings with nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, quality and operational champions to develop product and patient workflows and remove barriers to treatment. - Develop and execute training for authorised users and ensure access to chain-of-identity and chain-of-custody systems is provided to trained individuals. - Lead cross-functional execution across Market Access, Treatment Centre Operations, Medical Affairs, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Supply Chain, Patient Services and global commercial teams. - Serve as the senior business representative for Australia in global planning, forecasting, investment and performance reviews. - Design the future Australian commercial organisation and lead the selection, development and performance of additional team members as the market grows. - Lead or participate in advisory board meetings to identify market-development and educational needs. - Adhere to Iovance Biotherapeutics’ core values and business ethics. - Maintain compliance with corporate policies and procedures and with Australian healthcare laws and regulations. - Perform other duties reasonably within the scope of the role, as required.
