The role supports the Cost Control & Planning Manager by linking schedule performance to commercial outcomes — including variations, claims, extensions of time, and contractor entitlement assessments — across a portfolio of large-scale EPC and infrastructure works. ## Key Responsibilities 1. Schedule Development & Commercial Integration - Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Primavera P6) incorporating design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. - Align schedule structures (WBS, activity coding) with contract packages and commercial reporting requirements. - Support development of procurement schedules and long-lead item tracking in coordination with commercial and supply chain teams. 1. Delay & Extension of Time (EOT) Analysis - Perform critical path and delay analysis to assess the schedule impact of variations, changes, and contractor claims. - Prepare and review Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and supporting schedule evidence. - Support forensic schedule analysis in the event of disputes or claims. 1. Progress Monitoring & Reporting - Monitor progress against baseline schedules, identifying variances and their commercial implications. - Prepare schedule and commercial risk reports for project leadership, highlighting areas of exposure. - Support integration of cost and schedule data for combined performance reporting (e.g. EVM). 1. Coordination - Work closely with planning, cost control, procurement, and legal/commercial teams to ensure alignment between schedule and contractual positions. - Validate contractor progress claims against schedule and physical progress. - Support continuous improvement of scheduling and commercial reporting practices. Candidate Profile ## Qualifications & Certifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. - Relevant planning or commercial certifications (e.g. RICS, AACE PSP) an advantage. ## Experience - Minimum 6–10 years of experience in planning/scheduling roles with a strong commercial or contractual dimension, ideally within EPC or large-scale construction. - Experience in airport, infrastructure, or major capital projects is preferred. - Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including resource and cost loading. - Working knowledge of contract forms (e.g. FIDIC), variations, and claims/EOT processes. ## Skills & Attributes - Strong analytical and critical path analysis skills, with a commercial mindset. - Ability to translate schedule data into clear commercial and contractual implications. - Clear communicator able to work effectively with planning, commercial, and legal stakeholders. - Fluent English required, Russian or Uzbek an advantage. Success Measures (indicative) - Integrated schedules maintained accurately, with commercial and contractual implications clearly identified. - EOT and delay analyses delivered on time, with robust supporting evidence. - Schedule-related variations and claims resolved without material adverse commercial impact to the project. ## About Vision Invest ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Vision Invest is a leading Saudi Arabian development and investment holding company that partners with the public and private sectors to deliver sustainable infrastructure and impact investments across the Middle East and beyond. - **Entity Type**: Private (Investment Holding) - **Headquarters**: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - **Founded**: 2002 - **Founders**: Mohammad Abunayyan (Chairman) ## Core Business - **Primary industries**: Infrastructure development, power generation, water desalination, industrial gases, logistics, transportation, district cooling, wastewater treatment, energy efficiency, and social infrastructure. - **Target customers**: Public sector entities (PPP projects), private sector partners, and government clients in Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and Central Asia. - **Mission statement**: “Deliver sustainable value to our clients through impact investments” while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. ## Products & Services Vision Invest operates as a boutique investment and development holding company, not a direct product vendor.
