The Opportunity

Great stories don't tell themselves.

We're looking for a Communications Specialist to help bring the Netwealth story to life through earned media, organic social media, and thought leadership. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer & Adviser Communications, you'll play a key role in elevating Netwealth's profile, building brand awareness and helping position us as a leading voice in wealth technology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys a mix of media relations, content creation, social media and stakeholder engagement. You'll work across a broad range of initiatives, partnering with teams across the business to identify compelling stories, drive communications opportunities and deliver integrated communications activity that engages advisers, clients and the broader market.

## What you'll do

- Develop and execute earned media, thought leadership and organic social media initiatives that support Netwealth's strategic priorities.
- Identify and shape compelling stories, proactively uncovering communications opportunities across the business.
- Manage relationships with our communications agency and coordinate media opportunities, enquiries and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support executives and subject matter experts with media preparation, speaker briefs, talking points and thought leadership content.
- Measure communications performance and provide insights and recommendations to continually improve results.

## About you

- 5+ years' experience in communications, public relations, media relations, corporate affairs or a similar field.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content.
- Experience developing and managing organic social media strategies, particularly on LinkedIn.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with the confidence to identify opportunities and generate ideas independently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
