You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality composite fabrication that supports our continued innovation in aerospace manufacturing. ## What you get to do - Composite Layup: Prepare molds, apply and place composite materials following technical drawings and specifications. - Perform secondary bonding of components with epoxies and resins. - Vacuum bagging. - Trimming & Cutting: Perform detailed trimming and cutting of composite materials using various tools to meet development and engineering specifications. - Drilling: Operate hand drills and other equipment to drill holes in composite parts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings. - Tooling & Molding: Set up and use jigs, fixtures, and molds for the assembly process. - Material Handling: Safely handle composite materials, resins, and adhesives, maintaining a clean and organized work area. - Quality Assurance: Carry out inspections and tests on composite assemblies, noting any discrepancies or defects according to set procedures. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality inspectors, and team members to improve processes and maintain high-quality output. ## What you bring to the Team - Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. - Understanding of composite materials, resin systems, and adhesives. - Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. - Attention to detail. - Dexterity to handle small parts and tools. - Ability to work in environments that may require PPE. - High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, is required. - Technical or vocational training in composite technology or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
