Terawatt is the leader in delivering large scale, turnkey charging solutions for companies rapidly deploying AV and EV fleets. Whether it’s an urban mobility hub, or a carefully located multi-fleet hub for semi-trucks, Terawatt brings the talent, capabilities, and capital to create reliable, cost-effective solutions for customers on the leading edge of the transition to the next generation of transport. With a growing portfolio of sites across the US in urban hubs and along key logistics and transportation corridors. Terawatt is building the permanent transportation and logistics infrastructure of tomorrow through a robust combination of capital, real estate, development, and site operations solutions. The company develops, finances, owns, and operates charging solutions that take the cost and complexity out of electrifying fleets. ## Our Values Six core values guide how we work: commitments we make to each other. Our pace is set by a simple conviction: imperfect action beats perfect inaction, so we move with purpose, adapt without ego, and measure ourselves by progress rather than activity. Ownership travels with autonomy. Your name is on the work, and the best answer wins the conversation, wherever it lives. That candor works because of what surrounds it: people who show up with intention and have each other's back, tough on ideas and generous with people. Our customers feel this as reliability earned daily, every interaction treated as a chance to build something lasting. And underneath it all is why the work matters. The climate doesn't wait, and the stakes are also human: behind every checklist and every inspection is a person going home safely. We call it "This work has a heartbeat” — it's what the other five rest on. ## Role Description Terawatt's headquarters is located in San Francisco, CA; this is a remote role where candidates must live in the Greater Miami, FL area. Core Responsibilities - Own end-to-end management of construction for large-scale EV charging infrastructure projects, including both light- and heavy-duty fleet sites. - Oversee projects involving greenfield and brownfield development, building demolition or renovation, and on-site energy assets such as battery energy storage, solar photovoltaic systems, and low-emission generators. - Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and change management processes throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinate with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, and internal subject matter experts to support project development and execution. - Monitor project progress and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders through regular reporting and project management meetings. - Identify and resolve risks or issues that could impact project timelines, cost, or quality. - Develop and maintain detailed construction budget forecasts and project schedules. - Evaluate project requirements to identify opportunities for value engineering and schedule acceleration. - Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Business Development, Energy & Utilities, Product, Real Estate, Development, Technology, Site Operations, and Finance. - Support permitting, utility interconnection coordination, and contractor engagement activities. - Support and advance the electrification of transportation and TeraWatt’s role in building critical charging infrastructure. ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - 5+ years of relevant experience in construction or project management. - Experience managing development or construction of new infrastructure projects. - Strong proficiency with project management tools and software such as Procore, Smartsheets, Confluence, TestFit, and Google Workspace. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrated experience developing creative, non-standard solutions when standard "off-the-shelf" construction methods or utility requirements that challenge a project’s viability. - Demonstrating experience managing complex civil or electrical infrastructure projects in areas such as: - Site development and civil construction - Electrical infrastructure or power systems - Renewable energy or clean energy development - EV charging or vehicle electrification - Commercial or industrial renovations - Power grid or energy infrastructure - Freight, fleet transport, or logistics facilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. - Travel as needed to job sites (anticipated up to 40%). ## Preferred Qualifications - Ability to influence Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) in local utilities in markets such as Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, and New Orleans  to accelerate permitting for complex infrastructure projects - Experience developing accurate conceptual budgets from preliminary site plans, with the ability to identify key cost drivers prior to detailed engineering. - Experience developing modular "kit-of-parts" product selections that enable rapid, repeatable site deployments across different geographic markets and utility jurisdictions. - Experience identifying high-impact value engineering (VE) opportunities to reduce underground trenching and copper usage while maintaining long-term power scalability Compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including the cost of labor in specific geographic markets, and these ranges are intended to provide a helpful reference. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s location, skills, level of expertise and experience, and internal equity considerations. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and, where applicable, performance-based incentives.
