Our platform offers three core products: Merge Unified, which enables businesses to add hundreds of integrations to their products with a single API, Merge Agent Handler, which empowers AI agents with secure access to thousands of third-party tools, and Merge Gateway, the control plane for running AI in production. Merge's enterprise-grade platform handles the entire integration lifecycle, from authentication and security to monitoring and maintenance. Thousands of companies trust Merge to accelerate product development, unblock sales, reduce customer churn, and save engineering resources—allowing them to focus on their core product. We are seeking a Content Marketer to make Merge the most visible and most cited brand in our space. Buying research increasingly starts in two places: search engines and AI assistants. Your job is to win both. You will own an SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) driven content engine, producing blog posts, technical guides, comparison pages, and launch content built to rank in search and to be cited by AI assistants when developers research the problems we solve. You'll partner closely with product, engineering, solutions, and design to translate what we ship into content that developers actually want to read, and that answer engines want to reference. What you will do: - Own the written content calendar end to end with an SEO/AEO-first strategy, from keyword and prompt research through drafting, editing, publishing, and distribution - Grow Merge's share of citations in AI assistants and answer engines by structuring content for retrieval: clear definitions, direct answers, schema markup, and authoritative sourcing - Write high-quality technical and product content, including blog posts, launch announcements, comparison pages, technical guides, and case studies - Turn product releases and engineering work into compelling launch narratives across blog, email, and social channels - Partner with engineering, product, and solutions teams to source technically accurate, differentiated content ideas - Develop customer stories and case studies by interviewing customers and internal teams - Drive organic growth through keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and a defensible topical authority strategy across our product categories - Maintain a consistent, credible brand voice across every surface where Merge publishes The ideal candidate will have: - 2+ years of experience in content marketing at a B2B SaaS or developer-focused technology company - You're fluent in AI industry discourse and active on X, where most of it happens. You can name the accounts worth following on agents, MCP, and model releases, and you have opinions about what's signal versus noise. - Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work that demonstrates the ability to make technical topics clear and engaging - Comfort writing for technical audiences, including developers and engineering leaders; familiarity with APIs, integrations, or AI/LLM products is a strong plus - Deep experience with SEO (keyword research, on-page, technical SEO, content analytics) and a working understanding of AEO/GEO: how LLMs and answer engines select, rank, and cite sources - A track record of measurably growing organic visibility for a B2B or developer brand; experience influencing AI assistant citations is a strong plus - A track record of shipping consistently and managing multiple projects against deadlines - Strong collaboration skills and a bias toward action in a fast-moving environment ## Compensation - The cash compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $130,000. - Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications.
