Our progressive model allows our team to take an unconventional approach – by finding and fostering emerging talent, we have built a global talent network of 3,500 storytellers working alongside our in-house creatives. We partner with the best in the business — from trailblazing brands to pioneering universities and nonprofits. Through authentic, story-driven content, we create high-quality videos (from television ads to digital), events, and more. Our clients (partners) have included leading brands such as Disney, Southern Company, The Coca-Cola Company, and PGA TOUR, along with incredible university & nonprofit partners such as Smithsonian Institution, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, University of Cincinnati Health, and many others.  We push boundaries — investing in purpose-driven collaborations that create a lasting impact. Together, we lift voices and drive change, amplifying underrepresented perspectives and celebrating the storytellers who shape our world. We are a team of people with diverse backgrounds, different perspectives, and unique interests. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability has equal opportunities to thrive, collaborate, and create. Sitting down and writing — a concept, a script, a brief that actually inspires people — and it’s good. Those are the same instinct working in different directions, and exactly what we’re looking for. Some experience with events or live experiences matters here. Could be leading creative for an activation or getting pulled into show development and being inspired to do more. An understanding that events are their own storytelling platform, and one of the most powerful ones we have. The people who do well at iU tend to come from places where the work meant something, the teams were lean, and figuring it out in real time was just part of the job. That kind of background shapes people in ways that show up here. What You'll Do: - Lead and contribute to creative development across content, campaigns,  experiences, and events-- from early concept through delivery. - Build visual concepts and creative directions. Put something on the page that orients a team and gets a partner excited - Write when it’s needed (and it will be needed). Concept statements, scripts, briefs, pitch copy. - Work closely with project leads, designers, and writers, bringing real thinking to partner challenges from the jump. - Contribute to and shape pitches and new business, helping shape how iU shows up and what we put forward. - Bring a point of view. Ask the question that moves the work. Push back when something isn’t landing. Speak up and inspire others to do the same. - Genuinely curious about the people we make work for — universities, health systems, nonprofits, sports and cultural organizations. Ensure that curiosity lives inside the work itself. - Able to use AI to go deeper and faster. Never as a replacement for original thinking or the human insight that makes work actually matter. - Show up for the team, the partner, the work. Model what creative ownership looks like without making it a performance. What We'll Love About You: - Creative experience somewhere in the 4–6 year range, with real work to show for it. - Portfolio demonstrating both design and conceptual thinking across campaigns, content, and/or experiences. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Keynote for pitches, presentations, and event programming. Bonus if you work in Figma as well. - Ability to lead and contribute to ideation. Generating original concepts, facilitating creative exploration, and moving ideas from spark to direction. - Strong design instincts and solid writing ability. Probably a lean in one direction but able to work credibly in both. - Drawn to experiential and live work. Regularly thinking about how things feel in a room, not just how they look on a screen. - Comfortable with ambiguity. At iU, things evolve, the teams are flexible and collaborative, and the best creative usually comes from figuring it out together. This is part of our culture. - Invested in work that means something. Our partners are looking to us to help them tell stories (across mediums) that move people. This requires showing up consistently with the mindset and passion to match. - Collaborative without being passive. Able to hold a creative perspective, move it forward, advocate for it, and know when to let it go. - In Atlanta, or ready to be. Being in the room is important for this role. This is a short-term, high-impact role. You'll jump in fast, contribute immediately, and help us deliver exceptional work under tight timelines If you require reasonable accommodation in interviewing, completing any employment testing, or otherwise participating in this hiring process, please use our application to indicate any specific inquiries. Only requests related to accommodations will be responded to. All offers of employment at Ideas United are contingent upon clear results of a background check. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates. ## About Ideasunited ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Ideas United is a creative studio and production company that partners with brands, universities, and nonprofits to produce original and branded content, campaigns, and events through a global community of storytellers. - **Entity Type**: Private (Venture-backed; last round $15M in 2019) - **Headquarters**: Atlanta, Georgia, USA - **Founded**: 2001 - **Founders**: David Roemer (CEO and Co-Founder) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Media Production / Creative Studio / Content Creation - **Target customers**: B2B – Fortune 500 brands (Disney, Coca-Cola, Southern Company, PGA TOUR), universities (Emory, Georgia Tech, Georgia State), nonprofits (Smithsonian Institution) - **Mission/purpose**: “Changing the way stories are told” by combining an in-house team with a global talent network to create authentic, purpose-driven content that amplifies underrepresented perspectives and drives change. ## Products & Services - **Creative Studio Services**: End-to-end original and branded content production including video (TV ads, digital), campaign development, and in-person/virtual event production. - **iU Community**: A global talent network of 3,500 storytellers (emerging and professional) that works alongside ~50+ in-house creatives, enabling scalable and diverse creative output. ## Market Standing - **Valuation**: Not publicly disclosed - **Key Metrics**: - Annual Revenue: ~$9.5M (estimate) - Total Funding: $15M (Venture Round, March 2019) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: - **Investor**: Kayne Anderson Growth Capital (lead) - **Clients/Partners**: Disney, The Coca-Cola Company, Southern Company, PGA TOUR, Smithsonian Institution, Emory University, Georgia Tech, University of Cincinnati Health - **Growth Signals**: - Headcount of 58 employees (stable, with active job postings as of 2026) - Recent hire of long-time collaborator Cutler Andrews (July 2026) - Year-over-year job posting growth of +100% (though quarterly down -33%) - LinkedIn follower growth of +9.1% annually - Employer rating 4.0/5.0 on builtin.com (Culture 4.4, Work-Life 4.0) ## Competitive Advantages - **Hybrid talent model**: Combines a nimble in-house team with a vast global network of vetted emerging storytellers, enabling both scalability and fresh perspectives. - **Purpose-driven focus**: Deep expertise in storytelling for social impact, education, and nonprofit sectors, setting them apart from purely commercial studios. - **Long-term partnerships**: Recurring work with major universities and blue-chip brands indicates strong client trust and retention. ## Strategic Focus - Continue expanding purpose-driven collaborations (brands, universities, nonprofits) - Invest in authentic storytelling that amplifies underrepresented voices - Grow the iU Community talent network to support larger, more diverse projects - Modernize financial systems and processes (as seen in recent accounting job posting emphasizing process improvement and systems integration) ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Collaborative, experimental, and inclusive — “if you see a better way, we want to hear it.” High culture rating (4.4/5).
