This role will help shape how our products and brand communicate with customers across different touchpoints — from the moment a product is named to how its story is told on packaging, our website, advertising, and marketing campaigns. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, product teams, and other creative partners to turn product ideas and marketing objectives into clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant copy for the US market. This is more than a traditional content-writing role. We’re looking for someone who can think creatively, understand the customer, develop strong messaging concepts, and support briefing our creative teams on how those ideas should come to life visually. Accountabilities Product Naming & Storytelling - Develop creative and marketable names for new products, collections, and product lines. - Build product messaging and storytelling that communicates what makes each product special. - Create taglines, headlines, key messages, and supporting copy for product launches and campaigns. - Help establish naming conventions and messaging frameworks across product categories. Product & E-commerce Copy - Write compelling copies for Product Detail Pages (PDPs) on our website. - Develop product descriptions, feature highlights, gifting messages, and other e-commerce content. - Translate product features into clear customer benefits and emotional reasons to buy. - Optimize copy for clarity, engagement, conversion, and the natural language expectations of US consumers. Packaging & Product Communication - Write and edit copy for product packaging, inserts, labels, instructions, and other physical materials. - Create concise product introductions and storytelling that work within packaging and design constraints. - Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure copy and visual presentation work together effectively. Marketing & Campaign Content - Write copy across marketing materials including: - Paid advertising - Email campaigns - Social content - Landing pages - Catalogs - Retail materials - Seasonal campaigns - Product launches - Adapt messaging based on channel, audience, campaign objective, and customer journey. Creative Briefing & Collaboration - Turn marketing objectives into clear creative concepts and briefs for Graphic Designers, Content Creators, Photo/Video teams, and other creative partners. - Provide headlines, messaging hierarchy, storytelling direction, and context so designers understand not only what to create, but what the communication needs to achieve. - Work closely with Marketing and Creative teams to brainstorm campaign ideas and develop them into executable creative directions. - Review creative assets to ensure copy, visuals, and overall messaging work together effectively. ## Qualifications Must have - Native-level US English writing proficiency with a strong understanding of US culture, consumer behavior, humor, gifting occasions, and natural everyday language. - Currently living in Da Nang, Vietnam, or willing to relocate to Da Nang. - Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills. - Experience writing for consumer brands, e-commerce, advertising, creative agencies, or lifestyle brands. - Ability to move comfortably between short-form creative copy and longer product storytelling. - Strong conceptual thinking — able to generate ideas, not just execute copy requests. - Comfortable collaborating with designers and providing creative briefs or visual direction. - Strong attention to tone of voice, grammar, nuance, and consistency. - Able to manage multiple products, campaigns, and deadlines in a fast-moving creative environment. - Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly. ## Nice to Have - Experience with e-commerce or DTC brands. - Experience writing product names, packaging, PDPs, or retail copy. - Experience working with gifting, lifestyle, stationery, home décor, or emotionally driven consumer products. - Understanding of SEO and e-commerce conversion principles. - Experience working with international or cross-cultural teams. - Familiarity with creative tools and workflows such as Figma, project management platforms, and AI-assisted creative tools. What Success Looks Like You help us create a stronger and more consistent voice across every customer touchpoint. Customers should quickly understand what the product is, why it is special, who it is for, and why they should care. Internally, designers and creative teams should receive clearer messaging and stronger briefs, allowing them to create better work faster. Ultimately, your words should help turn our products into stories, gifts, and experiences that feel natural and meaningful to American customers. ## About Lovepop ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Lovepop combines art and engineering to create 3D pop-up greeting cards and gifts that turn everyday moments into magical shared experiences. - **Entity Type**: Private (post-Shark Tank investment; no public ticker or further funding rounds disclosed) - **Headquarters**: Boston, Massachusetts, USA - **Founded**: 2014 - **Founders**: Wombi Rose and John Wise ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Greeting cards, gifts, and e-commerce (specialty paper products with kirigami-inspired design) - **Target customers**: B2C (individuals purchasing for holidays, milestones, and everyday occasions); also sold through retail partners across the U.S. - **Mission statement**: “To create one billion magical moments” – a “magical moment” is defined as a card being bought by a giver and opened by a receiver. ## Products & Services - **Pop-up Greeting Cards**: Handcrafted 3D paper sculptures using a patented Slicegami™ technique (combining kirigami with ship-design sliceforms).
