## About the Role

As Creative Director at BioRender, you’ll bring our mission to life by defining and evolving how BioRender shows up across every marketing touchpoint. You’ll own BioRender’s brand identity, creative vision, and design function—leading the development of world-class creative that strengthens our brand, tells compelling stories, and helps scientists better understand the value of our platform.

This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role where you’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Executive Leadership, and Design teams to translate strategy into beautiful, effective creative. You'll set the creative direction while remaining closely connected to the work, building a brand that inspires millions of scientists around the world.

## What You’ll Be Doing

- Define and evolve BioRender’s brand identity, visual language, and creative strategy—ensuring a consistent, compelling, and recognizable brand across every customer touchpoint.
- Lead the creative vision and execution across product marketing, integrated campaigns, website, social media, video, motion graphics, events, sales enablement, and other marketing initiatives.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to translate business objectives, product strategy, and brand positioning into impactful creative that drives awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing creative team while fostering a culture of creativity, craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain scalable brand guidelines, design systems, and creative asset libraries that enable consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- Establish creative processes, workflows, and resource planning that allow the team to execute high-quality work quickly and effectively.
- Stay ahead of design, branding, storytelling, and visual communication trends—bringing fresh ideas and creative ambition to everything BioRender puts into the world.

## What You Bring to the Table

- 8+ years of experience in creative, brand, or design leadership, with at least 3 years leading high-performing creative teams in a fast-paced SaaS, technology, healthcare, or life sciences environment.
- Experience with or a strong understanding of medical illustration, scientific visualization, or scientific design, and an appreciation for communicating complex science through thoughtful, visually compelling creative.
- Proven success developing and scaling world-class brands, leading integrated marketing creative, and delivering exceptional creative work across digital, print, video, and experiential channels.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding brand leadership, visual storytelling, and high-quality creative execution across multiple marketing channels.
- Experience creating marketing creative for scientific, healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, or other highly technical audiences, with the ability to simplify complex concepts through compelling visual communication.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for building strong relationships across Marketing, Product, Executive Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- A passion for building brands that educate, inspire, and help scientists communicate their discoveries more effectively.
