Die Chance Neuartige und nachhaltige Baustoffe gibt es längst, doch viele schaffen den Weg in reale Bauprojekte nur langsam. Für Bauunternehmen, Wohnungsunternehmen und Projektentwickler sind Informationen und Nachweise fragmentiert, Produkte schwer vergleichbar und neue Materialien mit zusätzlichen technischen, wirtschaftlichen und organisatorischen Risiken verbunden. Gleichzeitig steigt der regulatorische Druck: Wesentliche Teile der neuen EU-Bauprodukteverordnung gelten seit 2026, der Digitale Produktpass für Bauprodukte kommt. Viele bestehende Lösungen setzen bei Dokumentation, Nachweisen und Zertifizierung an – nicht bei der eigentlichen Auswahl- und Kaufentscheidung. Genau dort setzt Nua Materials an. Ein zentraler Baustein ist der Nua Score, der bereits in einer ersten Version vorliegt. Bisherige Gespräche mit Herstellern, Bauunternehmen, Projektentwicklern und Gebäudeeigentümern bestätigen den Bedarf und zeigen Interesse an Pilotprojekten. Was du aufbauen wirst Als Co-Founder & CTO verantwortest du in der frühen Phase Produkt und Technologie. - Du definierst mit Nutzer:innen die entscheidenden Abläufe und baust den ersten nutzbaren Prototypen. - Du entwickelst den Nua Score weiter und baust eine robuste Daten- und Systemarchitektur für unterschiedliche externe Datenquellen. - Du entscheidest, was jetzt gebaut, später ergänzt oder automatisiert werden sollte – und was bewusst nicht ins Produkt gehört. - Du arbeitest direkt mit ersten Kund:innen und Partnern und baust später ein kleines Produkt- und Entwicklungsteam auf. For Nua Materials, we are looking for a technical Co-Founder & CTO to build a scalable product and company alongside the existing founder, starting from a validated concept. The opportunity New and more sustainable building materials already exist, yet many struggle to make the leap into real construction projects. For construction companies, housing providers and developers, information and evidence are fragmented, products are difficult to compare, and adopting unfamiliar materials creates additional technical, commercial and organisational risk. At the same time, regulatory pressure is increasing: key provisions of the revised EU Construction Products Regulation have applied since 2026, and Digital Product Passports for construction products are on the way. Many existing solutions focus on documentation, evidence and certification — not on the actual selection and purchasing decision. This is where Nua Materials comes in. A core component is the Nua Score, which already exists in an initial version. Conversations with manufacturers, construction companies, developers and asset owners have confirmed the need and shown interest in pilots. ## What you will build As Co-Founder & CTO, you will own product and technology in the early stage. - Define the critical workflows with users and build the first usable product. - Develop the Nua Score and build a robust data and system architecture across multiple external data sources. - Decide what to build now, what to add later, what to automate — and what deliberately should not become part of the product. - Work directly with early customers and partners, then build a small product and engineering team over time. The first months will be highly hands-on: we are looking for a technical founder who builds personally and helps shape the product, not a CTO who starts by delegating. ## Who we are looking for - Product development: You can turn an ambiguous customer problem into a clear, testable product approach and build it. - Data-driven products: You have experience with data-heavy platforms, scoring or comparison systems and can talk concretely about failure modes, data-quality issues and validation decisions you have encountered. - Technical range: You are strong in backend and data architecture and capable enough on the frontend to ship early product versions yourself. - Trust in B2B: You build transparent, credible systems that can stand up to risk-sensitive enterprise customers, long decision cycles and demanding evidence requirements. - Founder mindset and market understanding: You have founded before, were one of the first technical hires at a startup, or have taken on comparable ownership.
