Rather than shipping ads and hoping they land, they build systems to understand what's driving performance, then turn those insights into repeat successes. Motion is built to help teams do exactly that. Our platform helps marketing teams understand which of their online ads are performing best and why, so they can ship more winners across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. We found product-market fit as an analytics platform, then dove headfirst into AI over the past couple of years, and that bet is paying off: our valuation has nearly tripled in two years, and we now help some of the world's top ecommerce and DTC brands and agencies, like Vuori, AG1, and HexClad, turn insights into results. ▶️ [Learn more about the Motion product](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTK8WuTcwxk) AND meet our new AI agent, [Runneth](https://runneth.com/) 👋 We're an ambitious team with big goals, and we're looking for talented people to help us shape the future of AI-powered marketing! ## About the Customer Onboarding Specialist role 🔍 This isn't your average sales role where you'll spend your mornings dialing cold leads from a list. Motion already has a deep bank of warm leads: people who’ve already signed up, engaged with us, or shown clear interest in what we do. We’re looking for a GTM jack-of-all-trades who can step in wherever the business needs them most to keep the funnel healthy and existing customers happy. Week-to-week, that could mean anything from running our inbound engine to re-engaging customers to drive adoption, building retention and win-back campaigns, leading outreach around a major event, and more. Other things that make this opportunity unique ✨ - You'd help build new functions. For example, we've been almost entirely inbound since the start and are now talking about standing up an early-funnel team. As someone in this role, you'd help set the outbound foundation that future hires will build on. - Our product-market fit is unmatched. When we book a meeting with the right person, we're not cold-pitching; we're showing up with the best answer to a problem teams are already eager to solve. - You'd learn from the best. You'd work directly with [Evan Lee](https://www.linkedin.com/in/evanlee14/) (Head of GTM) and [Rainier Sidoo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rainier-sidoo-3231ab98/), who joined as an SDR and grew into one of our top mid-market AEs in less than two years. - The opportunity for growth is massive. Do great work here, and you’ll be rewarded. [Alex](https://www.linkedin.com/in/alex-kubow-95a180177/), [Miguel](https://www.linkedin.com/in/miguellozano95/), and [Rainier](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rainier-sidoo-3231ab98/) are all proof of how strong performers have progressed on our sales team. ## What you'd be doing 🛠️ - Flexing across GTM. You'll lean in across the full go-to-market motion depending on where the business needs you most. - Driving net-new pipeline. You'll go after high-fit mid-market accounts, both fresh ones and ones surfaced by signals in our CRM (e.g., trigger events, lookalikes to closed customers, lost deals worth another look, event attendees, and more). - Working the lists with the team. We'll define the plays to run together. You’ll then execute and share what’s converting to help sharpen our targeting over time. - Writing outreach worth replying to. Emails, LinkedIn, follow-ups, cold-call openers: you'll craft messaging that adapts to the prospect and the signal. - Getting creative with AI. You won’t just send emails. You’ll use Motion’s internal AI product, Runneth, to create personalized assets for high-intent campaigns. - Turning replies into booked meetings. When someone responds, you’ll work closely with your manager to understand what they’re looking for, confirm they’re a strong fit, and move the conversation forward. - Treating prospects like future partners. Our best demos come from genuine, collaborative conversations, not transactional sales tactics. Our ideal fit brings ✨ - 1-3 years of outbound or high-velocity sales experience. Whether you’ve worked as an SDR, BDR, GTM specialist, sales engineer, customer onboarding specialist, or in a similar role, you’ve used phone, email, and LinkedIn to build pipeline and know what a successful outbound system looks like. - An AI-native way of working. Tools like Clay, Claude, ChatGPT, and automation are already part of your daily workflow, and you’ve earned opinions about what’s worth the hype. - Real sales craft: You write outreach that gets replies. You can diagnose, articulate, and fix what isn't working. And you can do both of those things at scale without sacrificing quality. - Commercial sharpness. You can hold a credible, confident conversation and act as a trusted voice with growth and creative leaders at top DTC brands and agencies. - [High agency](https://www.highagency.com/) and ambition. You’re unafraid of the grind, set your own pace, own your numbers, and don’t wait to be told what to do once you understand the goal. - Adaptability. You’re comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and can pivot quickly when priorities shift. - Low ego and high care. You’re eager to learn, care deeply about the quality of your work, and don’t let ego get in the way of improving. ## What you'll love about Motion 💜 - Competitive compensation package: We offer competitive compensation, equity for all, health benefits from day one, a monthly health & wellness stipend, 20 days of PTO, a $1,500 work-from-home stipend, and your home internet bill on us. - Remote-first with hybrid flexibility: Our team spans Canada, the U.S., and beyond, with optional office spaces in Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, and Porto. - A deeply AI-native culture: AI is central to both our product and how we work. Our team is encouraged to experiment with any AI tools they'd like, without worrying about token limits. - A top-tier team: Our hiring philosophy is simple: high performers, low egos. - Growth that speaks for itself: We’re a Series B company with strong product-market fit, and our valuation has nearly tripled in the past two years. - Opportunity for impact: We’re still very much in startup mode, so your work will directly shape the product, the team, and the future of the business. - Team connection: We’re remote-first, but stay close through an [AI virtual office](https://ro.am/ai-video-meeting-app?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22127123966&gbraid=0AAAAAByzyQNhkanJxudcFyTsgMgNKEkC_&gclid=CjwKCAjw1IHTBhAaEiwA4AYNFhNPvH4iZvXNPt8ao7sMlgiE8_g2Ibicw_XElyNK7rdq9gM2GIkc3xoC-CQQAvD_BwE) and come together in person at least once a year for a company-wide retreat, usually in Muskoka! We closed out 2024 with a $30M Series B raise and strong signals from our customers. In 2025, we built the foundational capabilities our customers rely on, setting the stage for what's to come. In 2026, with fresh funding ($65M+ total capital raised), we’re building forward from that foundation, taking what we learned to market in a deeply AI-native way. 🌎 A note on location: we're looking to hire someone based in Canada or the United States, ideally in the Eastern Time Zone, but are open to exceptional candidates in other locations. If this position excites you and you believe you'd be a strong fit, we encourage you to apply! Motion uses artificial intelligence (AI) to support administrative and efficiency-focused aspects of our recruitment process. All interviews and hiring decisions are made by (human) members of the Motion team. ## About Motion ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Motion is a creative analytics command center that helps performance marketers and creative teams analyze ad performance, research trends, and generate data-backed creative recommendations. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B) - **Headquarters**: Toronto, Canada - **Founded**: 2021 - **Founders**: Reza Khadjavi (CEO), Alexander Sloan (CTO), David Berglas (CFO/Head of Finance) ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Advertising Technology (AdTech), Creative Analytics, Marketing Software - **Target customers**: B2B; primarily Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands, performance marketing agencies, and increasingly B2B SaaS companies and consumer apps. - **Mission or purpose statement**: Not publicly stated in a formal mission, but the company operates as a "command centre for creative strategists," bridging the gap between performance marketers and creative teams to ship more winning ads. ## Products & Services - **[Creative Analytics]**: The core product.
