We're looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team at Ekumen. In this role, you'll help maintain and enhance a critical data ingestion pipeline that supports key decision-making processes and enables our teams to work with reliable, high-quality data. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth data flow, improving observability, and continuously finding ways to make things work better. ## What you’ll do - Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize a data ingestion pipeline built with Java and Python. - Implement new features and improvements that keep our systems efficient and scalable. - Write clean, testable, and well-documented code. - Participate in code reviews and share ideas that raise the bar for our engineering practices. - Stay curious and up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering. ## What we're looking for - Proven experience of +4 years as a Data Engineer. - Strong proficiency in Java and Python. - Solid problem-solving and analytical skills. - A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude. - Strong English communication skills (B2/C1 level).
