Sobre a vaga e missão do cargo

Você atuará como referência técnica em ciência de dados aplicada a crédito e cobrança. Neste papel, você vai liderar problemas complexos e ambíguos de ponta a ponta: entender o negócio, desenhar a solução e levar modelos e estratégias para produção, onde eles influenciam milhões de decisões. Você vai trabalhar com times de política de crédito, produto, engenharia e risco. A atuação vai além de construir modelos: inclui definir como decidimos. Isso passa por experimentação, inferência causal e otimização aplicadas a concessão, limite, pricing e recuperação. Também esperamos que você eleve a barra técnica do time, com mentoria, revisão de abordagens e definição de padrões.

No seu dia a dia, você vai:

- Investigar e enquadrar problemas. Entender, com o time de política, por que uma safra está performando diferente do esperado, ou onde uma decisão de limite ou de cobrança está deixando valor na mesa. A partir daí, transformar isso em uma pergunta que dá para responder com dados;
- Desenhar e analisar experimentos. Definir grupos de teste, tamanho de amostra e métricas de sucesso. Depois, ler os resultados com rigor, separando efeito causal de ruído;
- Construir e evoluir modelos e estratégias. Colocar a mão no código para prototipar e validar soluções, e então levá-las para produção junto com engenharia;
- Acompanhar o que já está rodando. Monitorar performance, estabilidade e mudanças de população, e decidir quando recalibrar ou rever uma abordagem;
- Influenciar decisões. Apresentar recomendações e trade-offs para lideranças e participar de fóruns de definição de política e estratégia;
- Elevar o time. Revisar abordagens de outros cientistas, fazer pair programming, dar mentoria e ajudar a definir padrões técnicos e boas práticas.

O que buscamos

Obrigatórios:

- Experiência sólida com modelos de ML em produção, de preferência em crédito, risco ou serviços financeiros;
- Domínio de inferência causal e desenho de experimentos, como testes A/B, uplift e quase-experimentos;
- Forte base em estatística e aprendizado de máquina, com segurança para discutir os fundamentos dos algoritmos;
- Fluência em Python e SQL. Experiência com Spark ou ambientes de dados em larga escala é um plus;
- Histórico de liderar projetos ambíguos e entregar impacto mensurável sem depender de escopo pronto;
- Comunicação clara com públicos técnicos e executivos.

Desejáveis:

- Experiência com otimização aplicada a decisões, como alocação de limite ou estratégias de cobrança;
- Vivência com políticas de crédito, ciclo de recuperação ou métricas como PD, LGD e perda esperada;
- Mentoria de cientistas de dados ou atuação como referência técnica.
