In 18 months, we supported over 73 million patient visits and become one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. We pivoted from broad healthcare AI to building Earth’s finest AI Care Partner. Today, we support over 2 million patient sessions weekly across 116 countries and over 110 languages. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi to complete documentation. Our mission is simple: strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare. We’ve found product-market fit with individual clinicians through our freemium medical scribe, transforming unstructured clinical visits into structured text artefacts. Clinicians and organizations quite like it. Now, we embark upon consuming more than just documentation. Every new job a clinician delegates to Heidi makes patients feel more attended to, cleans up health system logjams, and lets clinicians be clinicians again. That’s where you come in. ## The role We’re looking for a Product Manager to build and deploy products that solve meaningful problems for US clinicians and health systems. This is not a traditional roadmap PM role. You’ll work directly with clinicians, health system leaders, commercial teams, and engineers to identify high-value problems and turn them into products, workflows, integrations, or partnerships that drive adoption and commercial outcomes. You might go deep on an EMR workflow, design a new solution for a complex enterprise customer, or identify a strategic opportunity that creates a new commercial wedge for Heidi. In every case, we expect you to get close to the problem, move quickly, and connect what you build to measurable customer and business value. You’ll be embedded with health systems across the Americas and will spend meaningful time with customers in their environments. We care less about where you’ve worked or what your title was and more about whether you understand US healthcare, have built around EMRs, and can turn messy clinical problems into products people will pay for. ## What You’ll Do - Get close to US clinicians and their workflows—including spending time on-site—to uncover problems worth solving - Understand how clinical workflows intersect with EMRs, integrations, orders, documentation, and other healthcare infrastructure - Turn customer problems into product requirements and work directly with engineers to ship solutions quickly - Design workflows that can succeed within the complexity of large health systems without losing sight of the clinician experience - Make pragmatic build, configure, integrate, or partner decisions based on the problem and commercial opportunity - Own outcomes beyond shipping: drive adoption and understand whether your work is creating revenue, unlocking deals, expanding accounts, or creating strategic advantage - Look across individual customer requests for patterns that should become reusable product capabilities - Identify opportunities outside the obvious roadmap—including integrations and partnerships that could create a commercial moat for Heidi - Work closely with commercial counterparts to prioritize opportunities, negotiate scope, and manage customer expectations - Navigate healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements as product constraints rather than reasons not to ship deployments You might come from one of three backgrounds The EMR Integration Builder You’ve built products or workflows that sit deeply within the US healthcare technology ecosystem. You understand how clinicians interact with EMRs and have worked on problems involving areas like orders, prescribing, clinical workflows, interoperability, or integrations. Experience with platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, athenahealth, or infrastructure such as Surescripts is particularly relevant. The Enterprise Solutions Designer You’ve built products alongside clinicians and complex healthcare organizations. You’re exceptional at observing how care is actually delivered, identifying friction, and designing workflows that work for both the individual clinician and the broader enterprise. You know how to turn the needs of a large customer into a scalable product rather than a collection of one-off features. The Strategic Builder You naturally look for the unconventional opportunity: the integration, partnership, workflow, or product wedge that could unlock meaningful commercial value. You’re comfortable shipping something quickly to get signal, killing it when the signal isn’t there, and doubling down when it is. You connect product decisions to distribution, revenue, and defensibility—not just feature adoption. You do not need to fit all three. We want you to be exceptional at one. ## What We're Looking For - Meaningful experience building for US clinicians or US healthcare organizations - A strong understanding of healthcare, even if you haven't personally worked as a clinician - Hands-on experience building products or workflows that interact with an EMR - Evidence that you’ve spent time understanding real clinical workflows, rather than building healthcare products entirely from a distance - The ability to connect what you build to a commercial outcome—revenue, expansion, adoption, deal acceleration, strategic distribution, or another measurable business result - Enough technical fluency to work directly with engineers and reason about integrations, APIs, data flows, and system constraints - A bias toward building, testing, and learning rather than prolonged planning - Strong product judgment around when to build something reusable, when to configure what exists, and when a fast solution is the right solution - Comfort operating without a large support system of analysts, researchers, PMMs, and program managers ## Why You Will Flourish With Us 🚀 - Healthcare, Dental, Vision benefit options. - 401k with 3% match. - Personal development budget of $500 per annum. - Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company — if Heidi wins, we all win. - The rare chance to create global impact as you immerse yourself in one of the leading healthtech startups. - The opportunity to fast-track your startup career! Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants as we're committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all. ## About Heidi ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Heidi builds an AI Care Partner that automates clinical documentation, provides evidence-based decision support, and streamlines patient communication for healthcare providers. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B) - **Headquarters**: Melbourne, Australia - **Founded**: 2019 (some sources list 2010, but funding history supports 2019) - **Founders**: Yu Liu (Co‑Founder & CEO), Waleed Mussa (Co‑Founder & CFO), and an unnamed Co‑Founder & CTO ## Core Business - Primary industry: Healthcare AI / Medical Software - Target customers: Clinicians, hospitals, and healthcare networks (B2B, SMB to Enterprise) - Mission: Expand clinical capacity by supporting every stage of care delivery, letting clinicians focus on patients rather than paperwork. ## Products & Services - **[AI Scribe]**: Transcribes patient visits and auto‑generates clinical notes, codes, and follow‑up tasks.
