Let people who understand the problem build and share agents, manage their access to data, choose your AI models and host it all in your own cloud. We're a small team building as fast as humanly possible. Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are running agents on Gumloop across their company. We've raised over $70M https://www.gumloop.com/blog/series-b from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures to scale and are looking for people who care as much as we do to join the team. This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering. You'll contribute to key user-facing surfaces from early concept through final implementation, developing your product judgment, interaction design instincts, and frontend skills while working on problems that matter. The ideal candidate is curious, high-ownership, and comfortable operating with some ambiguity. You don't need to have done this before at scale, but you should be able to take a product problem, reason through the UX, and start building. You'll also contribute to our design system and help establish reusable patterns that make the product better over time. This is a high-impact internship for someone who wants real influence over what we build, how it works, and how it feels. You won't be doing busywork. ## WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and build polished, user-facing product experiences across core surfaces of the product. - Contribute to features end to end, from UX exploration through implementation and iteration, with guidance from the team. - Use layout, interaction design, and motion to make powerful workflows feel intuitive and fast. - Contribute to our design system, component library, and frontend patterns. - Work closely with product, design, and engineering to turn ambiguous ideas into simple, high-quality experiences. - Bring care and craft to the details: accessibility, performance, reliability, and edge cases. ## WHAT YOU BRING - Currently in your final year of study in design, computer science, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development, through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships. - Some exposure to design systems, component libraries, or reusable frontend patterns. - Strong product intuition and an ability to make thoughtful UX decisions, even with limited guidance. - A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate both design sensibility and frontend execution. - Care for craft beyond the obvious: you sweat the details others miss. ## BONUS POINTS - Experience with Tailwind CSS, Next.js, TanStack Query, or similar modern frontend tooling. - Familiarity with Figma or other design tools for exploring and communicating ideas. - Interest in developer tools, technical products, or AI-native products. - Any full-stack exposure, especially enough backend fluency to unblock your own product work. ## BENEFITS - Highly competitive salary and meaningful equity - Generous paid time off: 24 days for SF employees and 20 days globally, use them as you need - $350/month wellness benefit to spend on gym, spa, equipment, or whatever keeps you at your best - 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year - 401k match up to 6% ## About Gumloop ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Gumloop is a no‑code AI automation platform that enables non‑technical teams to build and deploy AI agents for work workflows. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B, raised $50M led by Benchmark) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, USA - **Founded**: 2023 - **Founders**: Max Brodeur‑Urbas (co‑founder; additional co‑founders not publicly named) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: AI‑powered workflow automation / No‑code AI agent platform - **Target customers**: Mid‑market and enterprise teams (Marketing, Sales, Ops, Support, Engineering) — primarily B2B - **Mission**: “To make everyone an AI engineer” — help users get promoted, help their companies go AI‑native, and help everyone focus on work that matters. ## Products & Services - **Gumloop Platform** (SaaS): A drag‑and‑drop canvas for building multi‑step AI agent workflows. Users connect modular components to automate repetitive tasks without writing code. Includes pre‑built agents: - **Data Analysis Agent** – answers questions from data warehouses. - **Support Agent** – triages bugs, creates tickets, spots support patterns. - **Call Analysis Agent** – surfaces objection patterns, coaching insights, competitive intelligence from call recordings. - **CRM Agent** – manages deals, researches prospects, keeps CRM updated. - **Meeting Prep Agent** – auto‑generates briefs before meetings. - **Gumstack** (Logging & Analytics Layer): A single source of truth for all AI activity across the organisation; traces every tool call and MCP interaction. - **Enterprise Features**: SSO/SCIM, role‑based access control, audit logging, AI model restrictions, usage monitoring, VPC deployment, bring‑your‑own‑API‑key proxy. ## Market Standing - **Valuation / Market Cap**: Not disclosed (private company) - **Key Metric**: **Total Funding** – $70.2M across four rounds (Seed $3.1M, Series A $17M, Series B $50M) as of March 2026. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Benchmark (Series B lead), Nexus Venture Partners (Series A lead), First Round (Seed lead), Y Combinator (Winter 2024 batch). - **Growth Signals**: - Headcount grew 130.8% year‑over‑year (40 employees, +7.1% monthly). - Trusted by enterprise clients including Shopify, DoorDash, Instacart, and Webflow. - SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant. - Multiple pre‑built agent templates and enterprise features added in the last year. ## Competitive Advantages - **No‑code accessibility**: Non‑technical teams can build complex AI agents as fast as they can type, eliminating engineering bottlenecks. - **Zero Data Retention**: Gumloop never uses customer data to train AI models; DPAs and ZDR agreements with third‑party model providers. - **Enterprise‑grade security**: SOC 2 Type II, VPC deployments, audit logging, role‑based access, and AI model restrictions. - **Model agnostic**: Supports multiple AI models with no vendor lock‑in; customers can bring their own API keys and proxies. ## Strategic Focus - **Current priorities**: Scaling the platform for enterprise adoption, expanding the Gumstack observability layer, and deepening integrations with internal and external data sources. Recent focus on “making everyone an AI engineer” through self‑serve automation. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Very small, world‑class team (≈40 people) building infrastructure used by some of the largest companies. Emphasis on impact and speed. - **Interview process**: Includes a paid work trial — candidates spend a day working on the product alongside founders to assess mutual fit. - **Mission‑driven**: “Help our users get promoted, help their company go AI‑native, and help everyone focus on work that matters.” - **Work policy**: Not explicitly stated as fully remote/hybrid; headquarters in San Francisco. Likely a hybrid or in‑office preference given the small team, but check during application. - **Notable perks**: Direct access to founders, fast decision‑making, and chance to shape the future of AI automation. ## Sources 1.
