We recruit, train, and support transformational candidates up and down the ballot — and run them to win. We believe that no matter where we come from or what our color, most of us want the same things. We want to earn enough to thrive, not just survive, and leave a better future for our kids. We want healthy food and clean water, safe neighborhoods and a safe world. We want to be free. The Working Families Party is regular people coming together across our differences to make a better future for us all. We’re a multiracial party that fights for workers over bosses and people over the powerful. We want an America which realizes the promise – unrealized in our history – of freedom and equality for all. ## ABOUT THIS ROLE The Digital Platforms and Content Manager will oversee all of California WFP's public-facing digital communications and design strategy during an exciting period of growth for our California chapter. This includes managing CA WFP’s social media accounts, website, and developing digital and creative content to engage our membership, partners, and candidates. The ideal candidate is passionate about cultivating and growing online communities, understands the role of visual design in movements, and knows what it takes to break through online noise in 2026. *Applicantsmust be based in California (Bay area, Central Valley, Los Angeles, or San Diego preferred). While this is a remote role, it will require occasional travel within the state of California for event coverage. ## ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media - Manage day-to-day posting across California WFP social media platforms. - Draft and schedule social media content. - Coordinate posting priorities with California leadership and campaign staff. - Monitor platform activity and respond or elevate issues as appropriate. - Maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms. - Occasional on the ground coverage of WFP events and activations. - Staying up to date on trends & algorithm changes Graphic Design & Creative Production - Create graphics for social media, organizing campaigns, endorsements, events, and rapid response communications. - Produce simple motion graphics and short-form video content when needed. - Prepare digital assets using existing templates and branding standards.
