We're building a commercial engine that lets pharmaceutical marketers launch campaigns at 100x the speed. - Rapid growth: Over the past year we've worked with some of the top life sciences manufacturers and now support 50+ pharma brands. - Frontiers of technology: We're building at the frontier of applied AI, experimenting with LLMs and new frameworks, and continually folding advanced approaches into the product to expand what pharmaceutical marketing can be. - Top-tier investors: We've raised from Transformation Capital, Twelve Below, Virtue, and the founders of Datavant, Commure, and Paradigm to supercharge our growth and build an elite team of engineers and operators. ## About the role As our Key Account Director for top 20 pharma, you'll own Solstice's entire commercial relationship with one of the world's largest pharmaceutical organizations. You'll carry the account from first brand-team engagement through signed enterprise contract, and then expand Solstice's footprint across large pharma brands, franchises, and therapeutic areas over time. You'll be the person in the room with brand leads and procurement, translating what Solstice does into value a launch team can act on, and navigating the complex, compliance-heavy questions that come with selling into large pharma. This is a high-ownership seat for someone who wants to win a marquee logo, works well across a lot of stakeholders, and can carry a multi-brand account end to end. ## What you'll do - Own the full relationship with top 20 pharma landing the initial contract and then driving expansion across the account's brands, franchises, and therapeutic areas. - Map and penetrate a large, complex pharmaceutical organization, building relationships across multiple brand and commercial teams and earning a durable seat with the buying group. - Lead conversations with procurement and negotiate enterprise MSA terms at scale. - Serve as a credible, consultative partner to commercial and brand teams, fielding complex product questions and building conviction across a wide and varied set of stakeholders. - Work closely with our founders and product team to sharpen positioning and bring the voice of the customer back into the roadmap. ## What we're looking for - 7–11 years selling into commercial pharmaceutical accounts, with direct experience selling to large pharma commercial and brand teams. Existing relationships within top 20 pharma are a strong plus. - Proven ownership of a large, strategic account or logo, including multi-stakeholder expansion over time. - Strong oral communication. You can hold the room, run a discovery call, and present with clarity and confidence. - A natural relationship-builder. Highly personable, easy to work with, and able to earn trust across a wide and varied set of stakeholders. - Sharp product instincts. You think critically about the product and can navigate complex, ambiguous questions on the fly. - A real drive to win. You want it badly and you bring energy and urgency to every deal. - Low ego and team-first. You share credit, ask for help, and put the outcome ahead of the spotlight. Benefits: - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Ground-floor equity opportunity - Flexible PTO - 401(k) - Visa sponsorship (O-1, H-1B, TN) available - Professional growth stipend - Relocation support - Work in a high-velocity, high-impact environment Competitive NYC Compensation: This role offers a highly competitive NYC salary in the $180,000–$220,000, competitive equity, OTE of 280k+ calibrated to reflect experience, seniority, and the level of ownership you'll take on as part of the early team. We benchmark against top-tier startups and established tech companies to ensure our compensation is both fair and compelling. ## About Solstice ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Solstice builds an AI-native platform for life sciences marketing teams to create, evaluate, and distribute compliant pharmaceutical content at unprecedented speed. - **Entity Type**: Private (Seed stage, $3.5M raised) - **Headquarters**: New York City, New York, United States - **Founded**: 2022 (Angel round in May 2022) - **Founders**: Aris Saxena and Yiwen L. ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Life sciences / pharmaceutical marketing technology - **Target customers**: B2B, primarily pharmaceutical brand teams and biopharma marketing departments (enterprise) - **Mission or purpose statement**: "Launch compliant AI-driven campaigns for your pharma brand" – accelerating go-to-market for therapeutics by rethinking the content supply chain from brief to medical-legal review submission. ## Products & Services - **Solstice Platform**: An AI engine that ingests approved brand assets and reference libraries, generates personalized marketing content (emails, print, digital), fact-checks against labels and regulations, and streamlines review cycles through integrations (e.g., Veeva, Ziflow). Type: SaaS / AI-native platform. - **Commercial Engagement Services**: Solstice’s team also offers managed services to pharma clients – creating, deploying, and measuring campaign performance on behalf of the brand. Type: Service + Software. ## Market Standing - **Valuation**: Not disclosed - **Key Metric**: Total funding of $3.5M (Seed round, February 2025) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Twelve Below (lead), Virtue (lead); integrations with Veeva, Ziflow, and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance (May 2025) - **Growth Signals**: Headcount grew 91.7% YoY to ~13 employees; LinkedIn followers grew 575% YoY (1,864 followers); 8 active job openings as of mid-2026; 50+ biopharma brands served; active presence at industry events (DDW, AAN, Fierce Pharma, Pharma CX Summit) ## Competitive Advantages - Purpose-built for pharmaceutical compliance (not a generic AI marketing tool retrofitted for regulated industries) - Proprietary pharmaceutical marketing models for content generation and fact-checking - Speed: average content development cycles measured in weeks, not months; from brief to MLR submission in days - In-person culture in NYC that prioritizes “shipping over talking” and “the work comes first” - Deep domain expertise – team includes former life sciences professionals and engineers experienced in regulated AI ## Strategic Focus - Scaling the team across technical (AI/ML ops, backend engineering) and commercial roles (client operations, partnerships, marketing) - Deepening integrations with pharma workflows (Veeva, project management, analytics) - Expanding enterprise client base and moving into additional therapeutic areas (oncology, rare disease, neurology) - Continuing to comply with evolving regulatory standards while maintaining speed ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Emphasizes “speed without shortcuts,” “seek discomfort,” and a bias for action – no long memos or bureaucracy. The team meets in-person daily in NYC (10016). Remote or hybrid is not offered; it’s an in-person office culture. - **Growth trajectory**: Early-stage but rapidly growing (91.7% headcount growth YoY); employees have direct impact on product, client success, and company direction. - **Technical environment**: Modern stack (TypeScript, React, Python, Docker, Figma, HubSpot, Salesforce, Veeva integrations); AI/ ML Ops roles available. - **Perks**: Not explicitly listed, but the company values “the work comes first” – meaningful problems in healthcare with a small, ambitious team. ## Sources 1.
