This role will oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing, communications and public relations initiatives, both external and internal, to elevate Salt XC’s brand and visibility across key markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller who knows how to turn great work, ideas and agency momentum into compelling communications. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and internal creative teams, this role will develop strategies and plans that drive consistent messaging across our North American organization and bring the Salt XC brand to life across audiences and channels, from public relations, thought leadership and awards to social media and employee engagement. ## CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Executive Communications - Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to translate business priorities into clear, compelling executive messaging, presentations, announcements and key communications. - Provide strategic communications counsel and support for key business and organizational moments, including leadership changes and news, acquisitions, integrations and change initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across internal and external audiences. External Communications - Lead Salt XC’s external communications strategy for Canada and oversee the U.S. strategy in partnership with external resources, developing plans and content calendars that strengthen the agency’s reputation, visibility and market presence across North America. - Identify and amplify agency news, new business wins, key hires, client work and other milestones through compelling external communications and storytelling. - Drive PR and earned media efforts in Canada, including media outreach, press releases, announcements and inbound media requests, while overseeing U.S. PR efforts with external partners. - Build and maintain relationships with industry media and PR partners to generate coverage and strengthen Salt XC’s presence and reputation in the industry. - Shape and execute Salt XC’s thought leadership strategy, identifying opportunities for speaking engagements, panels, judging, contributed articles and industry commentary that elevate the agency and its leaders. - Lead the agency’s awards and industry recognition strategy, setting priorities and identifying opportunities that strengthen Salt XC’s reputation and industry profile, while overseeing the development and delivery of key submissions in partnership with internal teams. - Lead Salt XC’s social media strategy and presence, defining how agency channels support brand, reputation and business priorities, and partnering with the Social & Creator team to bring the strategy to life through content and campaigns. - Ensure a consistent Salt XC brand voice and narrative across markets and channels, while tracking communications performance and identifying opportunities to strengthen our external presence.
