Help us deploy it. Energy should be free.  Free from aging grids, fragile supply chains, and unnecessary extraction. At Moment Energy, we’re building a world where clean power is abundant, affordable, and uninterrupted for everyone. The world doesn’t need another promise about energy; it needs proof that a freer future is possible. Moment Energy is the pragmatic liberator of power, the only company certified to turn the largest untapped energy supply into independent energy. Now is the moment. While the industry scraps millions of batteries with decades of life left, we put them to work by repurposing large-format batteries into advanced battery energy storage systems that deliver real-world impact. We were told second-life batteries would never be safe enough or scalable enough. We didn’t argue, we engineered the solution. Today, Moment Energy delivers 5x the energy density and holds the certifications required to deploy energy independence at scale. Now is the moment. Join us. The Opportunity We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing who thrives in high-growth startup environments and understands how to build a powerful brand in an emerging industry. You will work closely with executive leadership and collaborate across Sales, Product, and R&D to translate market insights into impactful marketing initiatives. You will also build and lead a high-performing marketing team, currently overseeing our Marketing Manager, Content Creator, and Web Designer, while developing scalable marketing systems that drive demand, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This is a rare opportunity to shape the brand and market voice of a company transforming the future of energy storage. ## Responsibilities and Duties Brand Leadership - Define and lead Moment Energy’s global brand strategy and positioning to establish the company as a leader in cleantech and second-life battery solutions. - Ensure a best-in-class digital presence and cohesive messaging across all channels, markets, and touchpoints. - Establish brand governance and ensure consistency across all internal and external communications. - Develop compelling corporate narratives for media, investors, customers, and strategic partners. Market Strategy - Translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into a multi-year strategic marketing roadmap. - Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Sales to develop product positioning and go-to-market strategies for new offerings. - Lead competitive analysis efforts and identify strategic opportunities to strengthen Moment Energy’s market position. Resource & Partnership Management - Own and manage the marketing budget and marketing P&L, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and measurable impact. - Build and manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and strategic partners to extend Moment Energy’s marketing reach and capabilities. ## Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team across content, digital, and brand functions. - Foster a collaborative and innovative environment where creativity and data-driven decision making thrive. - Champion a customer-centric mindset across the organization. The Candidate We’re looking for individuals with the following traits, skills, and experiences: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required. - 8+ years of marketing experience with 3+ years in a senior leadership role. - Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups, ideally Series A–C. - Background in manufacturing, cleantech, energy, hardware, or industrial technology. - Proven success building and scaling marketing programs that drive measurable growth. - Strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on in a startup environment. - Deep expertise in brand development, demand generation, and market positioning. - Experience working closely with sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue impact. - Excellent storytelling and communication skills for executive, investor, and public audiences. - Data-driven mindset with strong experience measuring marketing ROI. - Ability to influence cross-functional leaders across product, engineering, and sales. - Start-up experience is highly desirable. Why join us? - Today, we’re delivering 5x the energy density and have all the certifications needed to ship energy independence to the world. - Be part of a mission-driven company focused on creating sustainable energy solutions and making a positive impact on the world. - Collaborate closely with passionate co-founders and a team committed to innovation and excellence. - Contribute to building and scaling a company from the ground up, where your work will have a direct and meaningful impact. - Thrive in a workplace that values collaboration, wellness, and celebrating successes, with regular company socials, fitness sessions, and more.
