Through our vertically integrated delivery model and highly automated microfactories, we deliver climate-resilient homes and buildings with greater speed and predictability than traditional construction. Our volumetric modular buildings are produced in our Andover, MA microfactory, with a growing pipeline across North America and a new microfactory on the way. We are building a system that balances repeatability with site-responsive design, enabling homes adaptable to each site, community, and customer need. Our cross-disciplinary team brings together architecture, robotics, design engineering, software, factory operations, and field delivery to change how housing gets delivered. We’re reimagining the future of housing through a smarter and more sustainable system that empowers people to live better. Come build it with us. ## WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING We are seeking a skilled Drywall Hanger to join our factory team and play a critical role in producing high-quality modular housing components. This role is responsible for measuring, cutting, and securely fastening drywall panels to wall and ceiling framing in a controlled manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience hanging drywall efficiently and accurately, with a commitment to tight seams, clean cuts, and production-grade quality. ## RESPONSIBILTIES - Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels to fit walls, ceilings, and openings around windows, doors, outlets, and other penetrations. - Lift, position, and securely fasten drywall panels to wood or metal framing using screw guns, ensuring proper fastener spacing and depth. - Stagger and align seams to minimize finishing work and maximize structural integrity. - Install drywall on ceilings using lifts or with a partner, maintaining level and plumb surfaces. - Cut openings accurately for electrical boxes, HVAC penetrations, plumbing, and fixtures. - Inspect framing prior to hanging to identify issues that would affect fit or finish, and flag them to supervisors. - Verify panel selection (thickness, fire-rated, moisture-resistant, sound-rated) matches specifications for each application. - Collaborate with framers, finishers, and other trades to maintain production schedules and handoff standards. - Communicate with supervisors to address challenges and improve workflow. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. - Clean, maintain, and properly store tools and equipment. ## QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent. - 3+ years of experience hanging drywall, preferably in manufacturing or construction. - Proficiency with measuring, cutting, and fastening techniques that produce tight seams and minimize finishing rework. - Familiarity with tools and equipment used in drywall hanging (e.g., screw guns, utility knives, rasps, T-squares, routers, drywall lifts). - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. - Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds (including sheets of drywall), and working overhead or on ladders for extended periods. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. ## WORKING CONDITIONS - Factory environment with exposure to construction materials, tools, and equipment. - Physical tasks, including standing, lifting, and performing repetitive movements. - Some overtime or weekend work may be required based on production schedules. Reframe Systems is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. If you believe you have the skills to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you don't meet 100% of the listed requirements. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. ## About Reframe Systems ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Reframe Systems is a vertically integrated design-build manufacturer that uses robotics, automation, and local microfactories to deliver high-performance, climate-resilient homes faster and more predictably. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: Andover, Massachusetts, United States - **Founded**: 2021 - **Founders**: Vikas Enti (CEO), Aaron Small (Co-Founder, Head of Manufacturing & Operations), Justin Hersh (Co-Founder, Head of Tech) ## Core Business - Primary industry: Construction hardware manufacturing / residential housing - Target customers: Developers (B2B) – works with builders on projects from 2 units to entire communities - Mission: “Unlock resilient housing as a basic human right” – also described as “climate resilient homes for all” ## Products & Services - **Design-Build Manufacturing Service**: End-to-end service covering design coordination, permitting, site preparation, fabrication in microfactories, delivery, assembly, and finishing.
