We are looking for an Engineer to join our Android team, with experience developing exceptional and innovative Android applications.

## What You’ll Do

- Develop and implement a complex and high-performing native Android application
- Solve difficult technical problems with a cutting edge Android stack
- Participate in code reviews and conversations on software development best practices
- Communicate progress and risks to the team
- Build a product that our customers genuinely love!

## What You Need

- 2-4 years of experience developing, architecting, optimizing and shipping high performance Android applications written in Kotlin
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem- solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication & collaboration skills
- Passionate about solutions while humble in the face of opposing ideas
- Desire to embrace the way engineering is changing (more immutable data, functional patterns, etc.) while also being intensely pragmatic
- Experience with large Android codebases and complex, high-performance apps is a plus
- Experience with Jetpack compose is highly desirable

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $120,000 - $175,000.  Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role follows a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days onsite at our downtown San Francisco office and flexibility to work remotely from home the rest of the week.
