Osiris, our GPS-denied navigation product, is at the heart of that mission, and we're looking for an Engineering Program Manager to lead it from the lab to the field. In this role you'll get to: - Drive field operations and customer integrations end to end, from kickoff through successful deployment. - Partner closely with software and supply chain teams to align priorities, surface risks early, and keep schedules on track. - Ensure the right hardware, software, and people come together at the right time, every time. - Bring clarity to complex, fast-moving programs and communicate crisply with engineers, leadership, and customers. - Travel regularly to client sites and lead hands-on problem solving on the ground. ## What we're looking for - Proven experience managing engineering programs involving hardware and software integration. - A track record of delivering in dynamic environments with competing priorities. - Exceptional work ethic, a bias for action, and a deep sense of ownership. - Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead cross-functional teams. - Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites. - Experience with UAVs is a strong plus. Location: Athens, with regular travel to client sites. ## About Delian We live under a new world order. To protect Europe and its allies [we're building a new defense prime](https://delian.ai/blog/manifesto). One tailored for the era of autonomous warfare. While building for the future, our culture emulates the defense industry's roots: mass scale; operational excellence; execution speed; rapid technology adoption. To strive for this we combine expertise in autonomy, electronic warfare and rapid manufacturing. Paired with young, passionate and mission driven engineering and technical talent. We have offices in London, Kyiv, and Athens. ## About Delian Alliance Industries ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Delian Alliance Industries builds autonomous surveillance and deterrence systems for Europe’s borders, coasts, and critical infrastructure, marrying advanced robotics with AI-powered sensor fusion. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: Athens, Greece (with offices in London, UK and Kyiv, Ukraine) - **Founded**: 2021 - **Founders**: Dimitrios Kottas (CEO & Co-Founder) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Defense and Space Manufacturing (Autonomous Systems, Counter-UAS, Electronic Warfare) - **Target customers**: NATO member states, EU border agencies, UK Ministry of Defence, and allied governments (B2G/Enterprise) - **Mission or purpose**: "To detect, track and respond to threats at massive scale across land, air and sea" – building the new defense prime for the era of autonomous warfare to defend Europe and its allies. ## Products & Services - **LAST (Autonomous Surveillance Tower)**: A stationary tower for persistent border and coastal surveillance, automatically detecting drones, vehicles, and personnel—including autonomously triggering countermeasures. - **M4K15 (Electronic Warfare for C-UAS)**: Deployable electronic attack system designed to disable hostile drones through RF jamming and spoofing. - **Strikeweb (Autonomy Suite)**: The common autonomy software layer enabling GPS-denied navigation, sensor fusion, and target tracking across air, land, and sea platforms. - **Jericho (AI Edge Compute)**: On-device AI compute module for real-time sensor fusion and decision-making in contested environments (no cloud dependency). - **Interceptigon (Hard Kill Large-Platform Countermeasure)**: An uncrewed, attritable surface vessel capable of 40+ knots with 70kg payload to intercept and neutralise threats in maritime approaches. - **Osiris (GPS-Denied Navigation)**: A lightweight (450g) module that enables navigation through heavy jamming and spoofing—flown over 3,000 km operationally in Ukraine. ## Market Standing - **Valuation**: Not publicly disclosed - **Total Funding**: $21.4M (Seed: $6.3M led by Air Street Capital; Pre-Seed: $1.1M led by Marathon Venture Capital; Series A: $14.0M led by Air Street Capital & Marathon Venture Capital; Grant from NATO DIANA) - **Key Metric**: $21.4M total funding across 4 rounds; growing rapidly from 22 to 42 employees (+88% YoY) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Air Street Capital, Marathon Venture Capital, NATO DIANA (grant). Customers across NATO, EU, UK, and Ukraine at national border and defence levels. Holds National, EU, and NATO Secret clearances. - **Growth Signals**: 88% headcount growth YoY; operational deployments on European borders 24/7; offices in London, Kyiv, and Athens; products operationally proven in Ukraine (Osiris flown 3,000+ km); recent hire of ex-MoD advisor (Mark Melhorn, Head of Air Systems UK) and former McKinsey/paratrooper (Apostolos Anyfantakis, Head of Strategy). ## Competitive Advantages - **Hardware + software + manufacturing under one roof in Athens** – enables prototype-to-field in weeks, with continuous improvement per deployment. - **Proven in contested environments**: Osiris GNSS-denied navigation has been operational in Ukraine; Interceptigon-N vessels built for attritable (low-cost, expendable) deployment. - **Deep tech talent**: CEO and founders come from Apple Special Projects Group (autonomous vehicles), Stanford CS, King’s College, and ex-Meta/Uber/LinkedIn engineers. - **Government trust**: Pre-qualified at NATO Secret clearance, existing customers across NATO, EU, UK, Ukraine including defence, border, and civil protection agencies. - **Full-spectrum capability**: From sensing (LAST) to navigation (Osiris) to electronic warfare (M4K15) to kinetic countermeasures (Interceptigon) – all integrated via Strikeweb autonomy suite. ## Strategic Focus - **Scale manufacturing** of LAST towers and Interceptigon vessels to meet demand from European frontline nations. - **Expand UK office** as a regional hub with ex-military leadership (Mark Melhorn, Matthew Wright) to win Ministry of Defence contracts. - **Deepen autonomy capabilities** in GPS-denied environments and AI-powered sensor fusion via Jericho compute module. - **Grow government/civil protection customer base** beyond defence to border security, critical infrastructure, and wildfire early detection (LAST variant). - **Double down on deployability** – systems designed to be rugged, low-cost, and easily maintained in field conditions. ## Why Work Here - **Mission-driven**: Directly contribute to European defence and security at a time of existential threats. Systems are deployed operationally 24/7 – you’ll see real-world impact. - **Rapid engineering iteration**: Prototype-to-field in weeks; hardware, software, and manufacturing all in one Athens location allows tight feedback loops. - **Top-tier team**: Work alongside alumni from Apple, Meta, Uber, LinkedIn, Stanford, McKinsey, and NATO defence – a blend of big-tech engineering rigour and defence operational realism. - **Growth trajectory**: 88% headcount growth YoY; Series A-funded with strong government demand; opportunity to shape a fast-scaling organisation. - **Flexible locations**: Offices in Athens (HQ), London (HQ for UK), and Kyiv – with a mix of hybrid/office presence depending on role. Candidates must be eligible to work in either London or Athens. - **Culture**: Builders who care about speed, field reliability, and operational deployment. Emphasis on autonomy, not bureaucracy. Engineers directly own hardware-in-the-loop testing and real customer deployments. - **Perks**: Involvement in cutting-edge autonomy research (GNSS-denied navigation, sensor fusion) with academic citation impact. Ability to travel to field sites (borders, ranges, Ukraine) for hands-on deployment. ## Sources 1. [Delian - Official Website](https://www.delian.ai) 2.
