The Valo, our eVTOL (electric, vertical, take-off and landing), 'zero emissions' aircraft will set a new safety standard for how we will navigate the sky. We won't realise our mission following the same legacy processes and traditions our predecessors followed, instead, we want to 'redefine' aerospace best practices. We are growing quickly from a prototype business to a scaling SME, and the next few years will be critical to our success and delivering on our ambitious goals. Valo is targeting airliner-level safety certification in 2029 ahead of entering service with our airline and operator customers. Not every role designs the aircraft. Some help the people shaping the future of flight stay focused, organised and ready for what comes next. We’re looking for a proactive and curious Executive Office Team Coordinator to join Vertical Aerospace on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll provide flexible support to senior leaders, our wider executive support network and the Bristol office, as well as helping to coordinate selected company events. This is a varied, shared-support role rather than a traditional one-to-one PA position. You’ll balance priorities across several people and teams, making sure meetings happen, travel is organised, rooms are ready and practical details don’t get in the way of progress. ## WHAT YOU’LL DO - Coordinate meetings involving several senior stakeholders. - Send, update and move invitations as plans and priorities change. - Provide diary support and holiday cover when needed. - Book meeting rooms, lunches, transport, accommodation and business travel. - Help prepare and process expenses. - Make sure rooms, documents and practical arrangements are ready for important meetings. - Support activity in our Bristol office and act as a helpful point of contact for colleagues and visitors. - Help organise all-company meetings, leadership activity, VIP visits and selected internal events. - Research hotels, restaurants, venues and travel options for commercial and company events. - Work with our executive support, People and Commercial teams to coordinate activity. - Help organise shared information, agendas, documents and straightforward team processes. - Spot what needs doing, take sensible action and ask for help when you need it. The role provides shared support across several people and teams rather than full diary ownership for one executive. ## WHAT YOU’LL BRING We’re looking for someone who: - Takes initiative and enjoys making things happen. - Can organise several tasks without losing sight of the details. - Thinks practically and anticipates what people might need. - Remains calm when plans change or requests compete. - Communicates clearly and enjoys working with different people. - Is willing to ask questions, learn and get involved. - Works collaboratively and is happy to support the team wherever the need is greatest. - Can work with appropriate independence without operating in isolation. - Is comfortable working from our Bristol office approximately three days each week, with occasional additional office days for key meetings or visits. ## IT’S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE - Around a year’s experience in administration, team support or a similar role. - Previous experience as a Team Assistant, PA or office coordinator. - Experience organising meetings, events, travel, a society, club or sports team. - An interest in using digital and AI-enabled tools to work more effectively. We care about your approach and potential, not whether you have followed one particular career path. The previous experience listed above is helpful rather than essential. ## #LI-LG1 What can you expect from us? We're on a mission. Where others see limits, we see opportunity, and we work at pace. Working at Vertical isn't your average role but for those seeking a challenge, a flexible, supportive organisation and an incredible team; working here is an opportunity to do the best work of your career. Our approach promotes ingenuity and courage, while our environment builds success through diligence in safety and being open in the way we work. The only way we're going to assure the next chapter of aviation history is by working as a team, relentlessly, towards our goal. Our benefits Our people matter - we're not going anywhere without them. Which is why our company benefits go beyond the essentials. - 26 days holiday, plus bank holiday - 5 extra days per year to buy (or sell) - 5 extra days holiday when you get married or enter a civil partnership - Additional 4% of your salary to spend on extra benefits - Award-winning digital health and wellbeing service (Help@Hand) - Company performance based bonus - rewarding company and individual performance - Company Share Scheme - open to every Vertical employee - Company Pension Scheme - 5% and we match it - Breakfast on us, every day We may just be the hardest job you've ever had, but we're confident it will be the most rewarding. Join the team today and help us shape the future of Advanced Air Mobility. Disclaimer Statement We encourage you to apply even if you may not have all the experience listed in the advert. We recognise that talent comes in various forms and we are committed to providing opportunities that create an environment of growth, diversity, and inclusion for everyone. As part of our desire to review and make our processes fair, we may ask you questions related to these aspects during the application process.
