Because finance plays a pivotal role in business, our mission is to put it back in its rightful place: serving merchants and consumers. Our installment and deferred payment solutions help merchants boost sales by 20% or more, increase customer loyalty, and deliver a seamless shopping experience, without encouraging bad debt. As the buy now pay later leader in France and active in 10 European countries, we've empowered over 25,000 merchants and 10 million consumers. With 380+ Almakers and €100M+ ARR, Alma is scaling rapidly across Europe as a member of the Next40, and we're just getting started! 👐 About the team You will join the Growth team and work closely with Revenue Operations, Account Managers, Business Analysts, Marketing, Data, and merchant technical teams. You will help Alma apply to its own website the experimentation and measurement expertise we bring to merchants. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Paris, with a hybrid working model. Professional French and English are required. 💼 About the job As an Experimentation & Tracking Engineer, you will own web experimentation at Alma: the A/B tests we run on merchant websites, the measurement of what happens on our own website, and its continued development following our recent redesign. Your responsibilities will include: Lead merchant experimentation from opportunity to readout - Qualify testing opportunities against technical and volume eligibility criteria, then design each test with the merchant: scenario, traffic split, pages, events, KPIs, duration, and stopping rule. - Implement variations and event tracking in Kameleoon, run the live phase, check data quality, and present the first results to the merchant alongside the Account Manager and Business Analysts. Own web tracking and measurement quality - Define and maintain the tracking plan for Alma's website across 8 markets, implementing it through GTM, GA4, or equivalent tools. - Ensure reliable data flows into Salesforce, BigQuery, and Looker, while owning consent and GDPR compliance, deduplication, attribution, and reconciliation across sources. Build and optimize [almapay.com](http://almapay.com) - Build and evolve landing pages, product pages, market pages, and local content following the website redesign. - Run a CRO programme on Alma's own funnels, starting with the demo request, while maintaining performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and hreflang across markets. Scale the experimentation practice - Turn the existing framework, documentation, and tooling into a repeatable practice, with a target of 8 merchant tests going live over the year. - Share standards, learnings, and results with Growth, Revenue Operations, Data, Marketing, Sales, and Product stakeholders. 🧰 You will work with Kameleoon · GTM / GA4 · JavaScript · Salesforce · BigQuery · Looker & Looker Studio · n8n · Notion · Slack · GitHub · Axeptio · Rudderstack · Vercel · Metabase · Cloudflare 🧩 About you To succeed in this job - You have 3 to 5 years of experience in experimentation, web analytics, CRO, or measurement-oriented web development. - You have hands-on experience with GTM and GA4, or equivalent tools, including consent mode, data quality, and debugging issues that can fail silently. - You are self-sufficient in JavaScript and HTML/CSS, including DOM manipulation, variation building, and debugging on websites you did not build and cannot fully control. - You understand the fundamentals of test validity, including sample size, stopping rules, and what makes an experiment result trustworthy. You are also comfortable working with clients and technical stakeholders in French and English. And it will be nice if you also - Have an e-commerce or payments background, with familiarity with checkout journeys. - Can use SQL to pull and investigate your own data. - Have worked with Kameleoon, Optimizely, AB Tasty, VWO, or a similar experimentation platform. - Spanish, Italian or German — our European footprint is still being built. - Experimented with approaches to manage the impact of LLMs on traffic and conversion Don't meet every single requirement? At Alma, we believe great hires come from diverse paths. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply. We value potential, curiosity, and the ability to grow as much as experience. 🧘 What's in it for you If you join, you will be able to grow and impact on: - Owning a broad, high-impact scope as Alma's internal reference for experimentation and tracking, with the autonomy to shape the practice. - Seeing the direct business outcomes of your work: your tests inform how Alma wins and retains merchants, and your findings are presented to real customers. - Working across dozens of merchant websites, 8 markets, and several CMS platforms, while being supported by a central Data team and Business Analysts for deeper analysis. 🤑 Compensation & Benefits - Competitive salary based on 12 months - Profit-sharing and employee savings plan - Health insurance: 100% covered by Alma, including family package - Disability insurance: 100% covered by Alma - Sport: partnerships with Gymlib and ClassPass, or €30/month reimbursement for your sports activities - Maternity/paternity leave: salary maintained at 100% during leave with no seniority requirement. Return to work at a 4/5 schedule paid at 100% for 8 weeks. - Sustainable Mobility Package (FMD): €544.80/year, excluding full-remote contracts - Meal vouchers: €10/day, 50% covered by Alma - Mental health: free access to the MindDay platform - Paid time off: 25 days/year, plus additional paid leave for employees on executive contracts - Access to our Learning & Development Platform - 2 weeks of full remote possible per year in summer 🎯 Interview Process - Video call with a Talent Acquisition team member to understand your background and motivation, and present the role. - Video call with the hiring manager from Revenue Operations & Growth to discuss the role, the team, your experience, and your questions. - Practical case: scope an A/B test from a real merchant scenario and present your approach, including project management. - Cross-interviews with a Sales or Account Management stakeholder and a Business Analyst you will work with. - Final conversation with leadership. 🌍 Diversity & Inclusion At Alma, we believe that diversity fuels innovation and makes our community stronger. We are committed to building a workplace where every person feels seen, respected, and empowered to do their best work whatever their gender, background, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or lived experience. As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applicants from all walks of life, and all employment decisions are made based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. ## About Alma ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Alma simplifies access to high-quality, affordable mental health care by making it easy and financially rewarding for therapists to accept insurance and manage their practices. - **Entity Type**: Private (Acquired) – acquired by Spring Health in January 2026 - **Headquarters**: Brooklyn, New York, United States - **Founded**: 2018 - **Founders**: Not publicly disclosed in available sources ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Mental Health Care, Health Tech - **Target customers**: B2B (therapists, health plans) and B2C (individuals seeking therapy) - **Mission or purpose statement**: “Simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health care.” ## Products & Services - **Alma Membership**: A subscription-based platform for therapists that includes lead generation via a personalized matching service and online directory, telemedicine software, billing, scheduling, insurance support, training, and education ([helloalma.com](https://helloalma.com/), [cbinsights.com](https://www.cbinsights.com/company/alma-2)). - **Free Therapist Directory**: A public directory where individuals can search for therapists who accept their insurance, with a typical cost of $20 per session for insured clients ([helloalma.com](https://helloalma.com/)). ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (acquired by Spring Health; terms not public) - **Key Metric**: Total funding raised – $220.5M (or $222.03M per CB Insights) across Seed, Series A, B, C, and D rounds ([linkedin.com](https://www.linkedin.com/company/withalma), [cbinsights.com](https://www.cbinsights.com/company/alma-2)) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Insight Partners, Optum Ventures, Tusk Venture Partners, Primary Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Sound Ventures, BoxGroup, Cigna Ventures, Rainfall Ventures, and Spring Health ([greenhouse.io](https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/alma), [linkedin.com](https://www.linkedin.com/company/withalma)) - **Growth Signals**: Network includes over 20,000–24,000 therapists; employees grew ~14.6% YoY to 810; acquired by Spring Health in January 2026 to expand insurance reach and address care continuity ([cbinsights.com](https://www.cbinsights.com/company/alma-2), [linkedin.com](https://www.linkedin.com/company/withalma)); named among Inc.’s Best Workplaces in 2022, 2023, and 2024 ([greenhouse.io](https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/alma)) ## Competitive Advantages - **Insurance network expertise**: Alma’s core value is making it easy for therapists to accept insurance (a notoriously complex process), which differentiates it from many direct-pay-only platforms. - **Integrated platform**: Combines practice management (scheduling, billing, telemedicine) with a consumer-facing directory and insurance reimbursement support, creating a sticky ecosystem for providers. - **Scale and brand**: With 24,000+ therapists and presence in all 50 states, Alma has built a large, trusted network that attracts both providers and patients. - **Acquisition by Spring Health**: Joining forces with a precision mental health leader creates a combined offering that spans the full care continuum, potentially increasing resources and reach ([cbinsights.com](https://www.cbinsights.com/company/alma-2)). ## Strategic Focus - **Integration with Spring Health**: Post-acquisition, Alma is likely focused on integrating its provider network and tools with Spring Health’s employer-facing precision mental health platform to provide seamless care continuity. - **Expanding insurance reach**: Continuing to simplify insurance acceptance for therapists and expanding partnerships with health plans. - **Scaling the provider network**: Growing the directory and membership base to improve access for consumers nationwide. ## Why Work Here - **Mission-driven culture**: Alma’s mission to make mental health care accessible and affordable resonates with employees seeking purpose in their work. - **Remote-first policy**: Most roles are listed as “Remote, Contiguous US,” offering flexibility (evident from job postings on Greenhouse). - **Awards and recognition**: Named an Inc.
