Come shape the future with us. ## FACILITIES Rocket Lab’s Facilities team is responsible for maintenance, operations, and improvements projects across our locations, making sure that the facilities our teams use every day are well looked after and operating as they should. ## FACILITIES MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR Based on site at Rocket Lab in Middle River, MD, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for spearheading the implementation of our CMMS facilities maintenance software and other administrative tasks while supporting various improvement projects at Rocket Lab's Space Structures Complex. You will support the Facilities Manager and Facilities Maintenance Lead with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors. ## WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: - Oversee the implementation of our internal CMMS system – through Infor LN’s service module - Data entry - Assist with facilities maintenance coordination and administrative tasks as it relates to janitorial, building/grounds, maintenance, repair, and update/upgrade activities - Administrative support for major facility renovations / construction projects - Coordinate maintenance support to ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment - Assist in vendor and contractor coordination & scheduling - Project management support involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. - Assist in the development plans for facilities modifications and improvements with the focus on scope, schedule, and budget - Ensures that project milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets - Oversee ticketing system (JIRA) and set priorities for resolution - Track and submit purchase orders; process credit card receipts and submit expense reports. - Support Facilities Manager with compiling documentation and data for internal reporting and leadership updates. ## YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree and 2 years of facilities maintenance coordination experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, or similar highly-regulated manufacturing environment - OR - High School Diploma and 6 years of experience - Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Infor LN, Oracle) - Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: - Expert knowledge of facilities systems and improvement projects - Experience with project management systems such as JIRA and CMMS software - Occupational health & safety skills to include risk assessment, policy, training, project management, hazardous substances, and safety in manufacturing engineering - Knowledge and practical experience in emergency management and / or occupational health and workplace hygiene ## ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Work in environments with electrical hazards, chemical exposure, temperature variations, and noise - Wear required PPE as assigned, which may include safety glasses, gloves, respirators, and/or other protective clothing for extended periods - Move between buildings, labs, and work areas, as needed - Lift, carry, push and pull materials and equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted - Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts as operational needs require Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
