## Job description

takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for  highly talented Facilities Coordinator  to join our team at the Kwa Zulu Natal DC

This position reports to the :Facilities Manager

Your responsibilities can include:

Qualifications and experience:

- 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications a plus OH&S and knowledge building standards
- Provide first line contact for the Facilities Department for all internal and external customers/contractors
- Liaise with suppliers/contractors to follow through on approved work.
- Perform regular building inspections and maintain inspection documentation.
- Assist in the compliance of the Health and Safety policy and safe working practices
- Respond to building emergencies as needed and be a member of the emergency response team
- Plans and facilitates employee desk moves
- Collection of post and packages from SAPO
- Oversees installation, inspections, repairs and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and facility equipment
- Use the existing ticket system to track open requests and to provide regular updates
- User access management via the existing access control system
- Retrieving CCTV footage or access control logs when required, provided necessary approval has been given by Exco
- Manage parking allocation based on company policy
