Diploma) | 12+ years (A.A.) | 7+ years (Bachelor's) | 5+ years (Master's) - 5+ years of progressive experience across EHS, facilities, plant operations, maintenance, or related functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Experience overseeing facility infrastructure, building systems, preventive maintenance, contractors/service providers, and facility improvement projects. - Experience developing and maintaining EHS programs and applying OSHA, EPA, and applicable state regulatory requirements to site operations. - Experience operating in a complex, cross-functional manufacturing environment. - Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and other functions. - Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn facility, maintenance, and other business systems. - Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or similar professional certification preferred. - HAZWOPER and/or HAZMAT certification preferred. ## Who You Are - Strong knowledge of EHS principles, facility operations, and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Experience with facility infrastructure, building systems, preventive maintenance, contractor management, and general facility operations. - The ability to translate regulatory and operational requirements into practical, sustainable programs. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions. - Experience planning and coordinating maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and facility improvement projects. - The ability to manage multiple priorities, vendors, projects, and programs without losing attention to detail or follow-through. - Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence decisions and drive accountability without relying on direct authority. - Clear written and verbal communication skills across frontline employees, leadership, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies. - Strong judgment and a proactive approach to identifying safety, compliance, facility reliability, and operational risks. - A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to make the workplace safer, more reliable, and more effective. Physical Requirements - Regularly move throughout an active manufacturing facility using designated walkways and access routes. - Sit or remain stationary for extended periods while completing computer-based work, documentation, and reporting. - Regularly communicate verbally and in writing with employees, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. - Occasionally lift, move, or adjust objects weighing up to 50 pounds. - Safely use appropriate tools and equipment as needed during facility inspections, troubleshooting, and Emergency Response Team activities. - Perform repetitive motions associated with computer and documentation work. - Read and review documents, equipment information, signage, and computer screens with appropriate visual acuity. - Work safely within an active manufacturing environment and comply with required PPE and site safety practices.
