The individual will identify and cultivate new customer opportunities, support field deployments, build trusted relationships with operators and mission owners, understand operational challenges, and translate those challenges into product enhancements and future capability development. At Expedition Technology (EXP), we focus on enhancing ISR capabilities (GEOINT, computer vision, RF/wireless spectrum analysis, SIGINT) with AI, ML, and sometimes plain old math. This role would be supporting the REALM product, which is enabling a wide range of RF/wireless anomaly detection uses across traditional Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) as well as more sensitive spectrum awareness and collection enablement mission sets. Our team is a strong mix of engineering and technical talent, as well as former USG personnel. This position would be a hybrid role supporting both sales/business development as well as product development with existing customers across the IC and DOW. This position would partner with our sales/BD team to drive new business as well as support the product development team with existing customer engagements. This will include attending conferences, trade shows, or customer events to demonstrate REALM capabilities, deploying REALM at test events and working alongside potential new or existing customers, or supporting operational deployments and gathering feedback from customers to further enhance product capabilities. Our focus is enabling our customers to more effectively and safely get after their mission. We are looking for an empathetic listener that can build trust with our customers - someone that understands a wide range of technical and operational mission parameters spanning TSCM, UTS threat mitigation, signature reduction, and collection enablement - and can be creative in identifying and translating capability gaps into future product development. In this position, you will: - Bridge the gap between our product offerings and customer requirements - Demonstrate operational credibility and build trust to enable sales with new customers as well as support existing customers - Conduct product demonstrations, installations, training, troubleshooting, and field tests for products - Understand customer mission and operational context, gather customer requirements, evaluate application needs, and define solution configurations utilizing the organization’s product portfolio - Integrate systems into customer environments, delivering tailored solutions that meet customer specification and performance expectations - Provide networking, system setup, operation, and support for new customers - Gather customer feedback and help translate it into product improvements - Support CONUS travel with possible OCONUS travel - Serve as a trusted technical representative of EXP in customer-facing settings Position requirements - Field experience in technical role directly deploying and enabling TSCM or technical collection capabilities - Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, someone that can translate between mission owners and technical SMEs - Background as prior TSCM, SIGINT, electronic warfare, and special operations communications professionals with operational RF collection experience, and technical mission expertise - Ability to operate and support technical systems in customer environments - Comfort with networking, system integration, and field support - Willingness to travel 25–50%, mostly CONUS with potential OCONUS travel - Active TS clearance ## Preferred experience - Preferred background as prior in the following or similar roles: Cryptologic Warfare Officer or Technician (CTR or CTT), Army 35S or SIGINT Warrant Officer, Marines 2621, SOF communications role, NSA field support engineer or similar field engineer role in the Intelligence Community, or TSCM professional - Experience in joint/interagency roles that required bridging across multiple organizational cultures, bureaucracies, and approaches - Signals, SDRs, spectrum analysis, and antennas - Electronic warfare or communications systems - Prior fielding, flight testing, ground testing, or deployed system support experience - TS/SCI eligibility or active TS/SCI ## About Expedition Technology ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Expedition Technology (EXP) applies AI/ML, signal processing, and computer vision to deliver signals intelligence and multi-INT solutions for the U.S. defense and intelligence communities. - **Entity Type**: Private (Bootstrapped) - **Headquarters**: Herndon, Virginia, USA - **Founded**: 2013 - **Founders**: Not publicly available ## Core Business - **Primary Industries**: Defense & National Security, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Signal Processing, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR/C4ISR) - **Target Customers**: U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community (IC), and prime defense contractors (B2G/Enterprise) - **Mission or Purpose Statement**: Build innovative, advanced signal, image, and multi-INT solutions to solve customers’ most complex, demanding, and urgent C4ISR challenges, preserving national safety. ## Products & Services EXP is a research and development (R&D) services and product-oriented company.
