As the leading AI Time platform for professional services firms, we’re transforming how organizations capture, analyze, and optimize their most valuable resource: time. Our proprietary machine learning technology automates work time capture and connects time data to business outcomes, enabling firms to increase profitability, improve client delivery, and make data-driven strategic decisions. We serve many of the world's largest accounting and law firms, including EY, Aprio, Crowell & Moring, and Frost Brown Todd, and process over 1 billion work activities annually that have never been collected and aggregated before Laurel’s AI Time platform. Our team comprises top talent in AI, product development, and engineering—innovative, humble, and forward-thinking professionals committed to redefining productivity in the knowledge economy. We're building solutions that empower workers to deliver twice the value in half the time, giving people more time to be creative and impactful. If you're passionate about transforming how people work and building a lasting company that explores the essence of time itself, we'd love to meet you. Position Overview As the Field Marketing Manager, you will be Laurel's first dedicated marketing hire in EMEA—a hybrid role spanning demand generation, events, and community building for our rapidly growing European go-to-market team. Based in or near London, you'll serve as boots on the ground, partnering with our EMEA account executives to build pipeline, run high-impact events, and launch localized digital programs across the region. This role blends the strategic and analytical rigor of demand generation with the relationship-building and experiential craft of community marketing. You'll report directly to our VP of Growth Marketing in the US and collaborate closely with EMEA sales leadership, bringing local cultural fluency and market knowledge that ensures everything we do in Europe resonates authentically. Laurel's mission is ambitious: to return time to professionals. Our marketing goals are equally ambitious, and your efforts will directly contribute to our growth trajectory as we scale internationally. This is an exciting opportunity for a builder—someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves experimenting, and wants to shape what international marketing looks like at a category-defining company. ## Key Responsibilities Events Strategy & Execution (50%) - Own the EMEA events strategy across Laurel-hosted experiences (executive dinners, roundtables, roadshows) and third-party conferences and trade shows in the professional services industry - Design and execute high-impact, time-respectful experiences—every minute must deliver value for attendees, reflecting Laurel's brand and mission - Build and manage pre/during/post event playbooks localized for European markets, including automated email cadences and personalized sales outreach coordination - Partner with EMEA account executives to drive attendance, reduce no-shows, and ensure thoughtful follow-up that converts event engagement into pipeline - Track event performance rigorously: pipeline contribution, deal acceleration, cost per attendee, and influenced ARR - Scale the events program across EMEA as Laurel expands beyond the UK Cross-Functional Collaboration (30%) - Serve as the primary marketing partner for the EMEA go-to-market team, ensuring alignment on target accounts, messaging, and lead qualification - Collaborate with the US-based Demand Gen Manager and Head of Community to adapt global campaigns and strategies for European markets - Partner with Product Marketing to localize campaign messaging around product launches and Laurel's time intelligence narrative - Work with RevOps to manage EMEA lead flow processes, attribution, and reporting - Provide feedback from the European market back to the broader marketing team to inform global strategy Community Building & Brand (20%) - Begin laying the foundation for Laurel's EMEA community—creating connections among professional services leaders (Managing Partners, CIOs, CFOs, Operations leaders) in the region - Turn events into content: capture insights from executive dinners and roundtables to fuel case studies, social content, and thought leadership - Support integrated campaigns including executive gifting, targeted outreach sequences, and content amplification for the EMEA market ## Qualifications Required Experience - 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing with a blend of demand generation, events, and/or field marketing—ideally in professional services, legal tech, accounting software, or B2B SaaS - Proven track record of planning and executing successful events that drive measurable pipeline growth, from intimate executive dinners to larger-format conferences - Hands-on experience with digital demand generation channels (LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, paid media) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) - Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions based on performance data and tie marketing activities back to revenue - Experience building or refining event playbooks (pre/during/post) and coordinating cross-functionally with sales teams to maximize impact - Deep familiarity with European business norms, professional services buying committees, and complex enterprise decision-making processes - Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset—you've operated in environments where you're figuring out the motion as you go Strategic & Technical Skills - Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategy and execution for enterprise sales cycles - Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and attribution modeling - Strong project management skills—able to run multiple events and campaigns simultaneously across time zones - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams - A genuine appetite for AI tools and workflow automation—you look at repetitive tasks and ask how to automate them so you can focus on higher-impact work Nice-to-Haves - Experience marketing to law firms, accounting firms, or management consultancies in Europe - Background in building community programs (peer roundtables, user groups, champion networks) - Fluency in an additional European language (French, German, or another) alongside English - Experience managing agencies or outsourced logistics teams for event execution - Familiarity with professional services billing, time tracking, or productivity workflows - Comfort with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for scaling marketing output ## Who You Are You are deeply curious about the customer and the product. You don't wait for Product Marketing to hand you messaging—you learn the product, understand how it's sold, and bring that knowledge to every campaign and conversation. You're numbers-oriented: you never want to light money on fire, and you back every hypothesis with data. You're hungry to automate the repetitive so you can focus on the work that makes an executive dinner unforgettable or an ABM play convert. You're energized by building in ambiguity and thrive when the playbook hasn't been written yet—because you're the one who's going to write it.
