Reporting to the Director of Service within our Operations organization, you'll serve as the primary technical resource for our customers while helping to build our service infrastructure from the ground up. This role combines hands-on technical problem solving with strategic service development in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment. ## Responsibilities - Serve as the primary technical support resource for our customer fleet, diagnosing and resolving complex issues with our all-electric RV systems - Travel to provide on-site customer support across various US locations - Develop and document service procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repair protocols for electric drivetrain, battery systems, and RV components - Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and implement product improvements based on field experience - Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional technical support and collecting valuable feedback to share within the organization - Create a knowledge base of common issues and solutions to support scalable customer service - Analyze service data to identify trends and recommend preventive measures - Assist in establishing service center requirements and dealer service capabilities - Contribute to the development of remote diagnostic tools and procedures ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience - 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably with electric vehicles, RVs, or complex electromechanical systems - Hands-on experience with electromechanical test equipment and tools - Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, multidisciplinary issues with little or no oversight - Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and issues to a wide audience from engineering leaders to customers and non-technical staff - Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 70-80%) for the first 6-12 months, with ongoing travel requirements thereafter.
