As a Finance Manager at The Merch Collective you’ll work closely with the Assistant Controller overseeing financial operations, with a concentration on Artist Royalties and Accounts Receivable. Your role will encompass assisting with providing variance analysis and recommended corrective actions to improve financial performance. Success in the role will be dependent on strong analytical skills. What you'll do: - Assistance with the ownership of all Royalty Statements, including coordination across departments to reconcile all associated revenue, COGS and other expenses summarized in a completed settlement at the end of each Tour. Oversite and management of data calculations to confirm accuracy before final approvals for settlements and payment submissions. - Conduct Quickbooks general ledger activity research in analyzing account balance and transaction details and preparing journal entries as needed. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting. Daily banking and QuickBooks reconciliations. - Assist with Month end close: monthly reporting of actual performance, reconciling financial statements. Research and collection of Accounts Receivable open invoicing. - Communications across multiple departments to resolve discrepancies and process outlying data exceptions. - Research and special projects as assigned.
