We are searching for a Financial Analyst to join our team based in Corona, CA. In this role, you will support month-end close, standard cost accounting, and inventory control while partnering closely with Operations. This is a hands-on, versatile role spanning cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting in support of manufacturing operations. You'll assist in communicating results to Operations partners and help influence decision-making by providing insight from a business perspective. Essential Functions: - Perform month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and Fixed Assets reconciliation - Prepare standard cost estimates for new and existing SKUs and provide NPI cost estimating support - Own and support inventory management activities, including obsolete inventory tracking and disposition, Employee Sale inventory, physical/cycle counts, and Year-End Inventory (YEI) across multiple areas - Perform daily reconciliation of scrap with Operations and produce daily reporting on labor, Tools & Supplies, scrap, and other operational metrics - Own petty cash and checking account reconciliation - Process expense requests for R&D/NPI/production areas - Support special projects for Finance and Operations, and assist in communicating results to Operations partners to influence decision-making - Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: - Degree in Finance or Accounting, with 1–2 years of finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Working knowledge of GAAP and standard cost accounting principles - Systems knowledge: SAP experience preferred (including Fixed Assets, inventory, BOM’s, and routings) along with strong Excel skills for analysis of large/detailed operational data sets - Experience with or aptitude for high-frequency reporting cycles (daily/weekly/monthly) - Physical inventory control experience a plus - Strong analytical skills; self-motivated and a self-starter - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Bilingual English-Spanish preferred About Fender Musical Instruments: Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is one of the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers and distributors, whose portfolio of brands includes Fender®, Squier®, Gretsch®, Jackson®, EVH®, Charvel®, among others.
