Backed by leading investors, we're leveraging AI, graph-based architecture, and exceptional design to transform how enterprises manage and engage with their technology ecosystems. ## About the Role Our platform turns an enterprise's historical ticket data, knowledge bases, and integrations into instant resolutions, automated workflows, and a living graph of their organization. None of that happens from a distance. Someone has to sit inside the customer's environment — their data, their integrations, their constraints — and make it real. That's forward deployed engineering, and this is the team that does it. You do not need to have done this job before. Most people haven't; the title barely existed five years ago. If you're two or three years into writing software, you like being in the room where the problem actually is, and you build things nobody asked you to build, we want to talk to you. ## Responsibilities - Deploy STLabs inside enterprise environments, potentially working on-site alongside teammates to map service workflows. - Increment on production code — integrations, data pipelines, agent workflows, and internal tooling to bridge the idealisms of our product against the practical reality of your clients. - Wire our platform into the systems customers already run: ticketing, identity, device management, knowledge bases, and whatever else lives in their stack. - Own a piece of a live deployment from your first month, and a whole one when you're ready. - Feed what you learn back into the product. You'll see more of how enterprises actually run their service operations than anyone else at the company. ## Qualifications - 2–3 years writing software professionally, or a strong engineering degree plus an internship where you shipped something real. - Comfortable in Python and TypeScript, or confident you can be by month two. - Experience integrating against third-party APIs and working with other people's data — messy, undocumented, and in production. - You build things outside of assigned work: a tool, an app, an open-source contribution, something half-finished you still talk about. - You want to be in front of customers, not just tolerate it. - You stay when the work gets unglamorous, and you can give us a specific example of a time you did. Bonus: - Hands-on LLM work — agents, tool use, retrieval, evals. Shipped, not demoed. - Exposure to ITSM, CMDB, or enterprise IT operations. - Two years in technical consulting or solutions engineering and a strong urge to write more code. ## What We Offer - Real problems, real impact. Enterprise service management touches thousands of engineers and IT teams every day — and you'll be sitting in the room with the people it touches. - High ownership. Low process. You'll ship meaningful work every week and see the impact immediately. - Technical depth. Graph databases, LLM orchestration, self-healing integrations, and natural language workflow engines — deployed into real enterprise environments, not a demo. - Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits package. - On-site collaborative workspace in Midtown, Manhattan, five days a week with the founding team, plus potentially travel to customer sites The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is: $140,000—$200,000 USD As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind. Whether that's based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state or local laws. Enables impact analysis, blast radius mapping, and dependency tracing without manual CMDB. - **Workflow Engine**: AI generates auditable, version-controlled code for workflows; deterministic execution with human-in-the-loop escalation and policy guardrails. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not publicly available - **Key Metric**: Total Funding – not disclosed; backed by prominent investors (see below) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Board Director **Matt Jacobson** (General Partner at ICONIQ Capital, board member of Datadog, GitLab, etc.); other investors include Murat Bicer (likely from ICONIQ). Partners: 100+ integrations with identity providers, ticketing systems, cloud infrastructure, and communication tools. - **Growth Signals**: Founded in 2025, already 25 total employees (15 product+tech), 16 open roles as of mid-2025. In-office 5 days a week in Midtown Manhattan, indicating rapid team scaling. ## Competitive Advantages - **AI-native architecture** – built from scratch for the AI era, not bolted onto legacy systems. - **Live graph (Axiom)** – reasons over real-time relationships, not stale snapshots, enabling accurate root cause and impact analysis. - **Deterministic execution** – every action is auditable, versioned, and reproducible; no black-box magic. - **Self-maintaining** – integrations adapt when APIs change; no manual CMDB. - **Policy guardrails** – natural language policies that AI interprets directly, ensuring compliance. ## Strategic Focus - **Current priorities**: Building the platform modules (self-service, operator intelligence, Axiom) and expanding integration ecosystem. Hiring aggressively across engineering, product, and operations to accelerate product development and go-to-market. - **Direction for growth**: Displacing legacy ITSM tools (ServiceNow, etc.) with a modern, AI-driven alternative that reduces ticket volume and automates complex workflows. ## Why Work Here - **Culture highlights**: High ownership, low process – ship meaningful work every week. Technical depth (graph databases, LLM orchestration, self-healing integrations). Real impact on a massive, broken market. - **Remote/hybrid/office policy**: On-site only – work from Midtown Manhattan office alongside the founding team, five days a week. Collaborative, focused environment. - **Notable perks**: Offers company equity; Unlimited PTO policy; healthcare benefits. Early-stage startup with strong backing – opportunity to grow with the company. ## Sources 1. [stlabs.com](https://stlabs.com) 2. [stlabs.com/about](https://stlabs.com/about) 3.
