## Job description

Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist • Client: Johnson Medical Center • Location: Venice, FL — Nearby: North Port, Englewood, Nokomis, Osprey, Sarasota, South Venice, Port Charlotte, Gulf Gate Estates, Laurel, Placida • Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour • About Johnson Medical Center: Patient-focused care in physical medicine, regenerative medicine, chiropractic services, and regenerative aesthetic treatments; committed to innovative healthcare, advanced technologies, patient satisfaction, and a collaborative team environment. • Role Summary: Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors; support daily medical office operations with strong communication, scheduling, insurance verification, record management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced clinical setting. • Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and check in patients
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Answer and route high-volume phone calls
- Schedule appointments across multiple provider calendars
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits
- Update and maintain patient records
- Assist with patient documentation
- Address patient questions and concerns professionally
- Manage paper and electronic medical records
- Coordinate provider schedules and appointment availability
- Perform general administrative office duties
- Support daily office operations and cleanliness
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance • Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of medical office experience
- Front desk medical office experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple provider schedules simultaneously
- Experience handling high-volume phone systems
- Insurance verification experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Experience maintaining electronic and paper medical records
- Ability to perform administrative office support duties
- Willingness to assist with office cleaning and operational tasks • Preferred Qualifications:
- Chiropractic office experience
- Experience with Eclipse software
- Experience with ChiroHD software
- Regenerative medicine experience
- Physical medicine practice experience
- Insurance billing knowledge
- Treatment scheduling experience
